Over the decades, Amitabh Bachchan has made a brand name for himself in the Hindi film industry and started a new legacy in showbiz. Later, he had got married to the actress, Jaya Bachchan and had kept their legacy forward. Amitabh and Jaya have two children, a daughter, Shweta Bachchan and a son, Abhishek Bachchan. A few years later, their younger son, Abhishek Bachchan had followed in his father's footsteps and became a versatile actor. Now, it's time for the new generation to unfold.
For the unversed, Shweta Bachchan Nanda has two wonderful children, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda. Now, Agastya Nanda is all set to debut in Bollywood with the film, The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, keeping the legacy alive. Amitabh Bachchan is very close to his family and mostly to his grandchildren, and his social media posts are proof of the same.
Agastya Nanda is all set to start a new chapter in his life as he takes the first step of becoming a great actor. Now, doting grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle and wished his grandson, Agastya for his new journey. Sharing the picture of the movie's clapper board, Amitabh tweeted a note, dedicating it to Agastya:
"Agastya .. a new chapter begins in your life and there cannot be greater joy among us all .. my blessings my love and my wishes ever .. do well .. AND keep the flag flying!!!"
On April 18, 2022, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the makers of the OTT-based film, The Archies shared the first picture as the film officially went on the floors. The film stars Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. It will be based on the comic, The Archies in Hindi version. And reportedly, Agastya will be playing Archie Andrews in the film and Suhana and Khushi will be seen as Veronica and Betty, respectively.
On June 27, 2020, Amitabh Bachchan had shared an adorable throwback picture with his son, Abhishek Bachchan and his grandson, Agastya Nanda. In the picture, the Bachchan men could be seen twinning in a white outfit and striking a similar cross-handed pose. Along with the photo, legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan had penned a sweet caption that could be read as:
"Father .. Son .. Grandson .. some years ago .. the folded hands are unplanned .. just happened."
