For those who don't know, Amitabh Bachchan had tied the knot with Jaya Bachchan on June 3, 1973. And a year after, the duo had embraced the journey of parenthood with the arrival of their angel, Shweta Bachchan. On February 5, 1976, the family of three had become four when Abhishek Bachchan had entered their world. Now, they are enjoying the grandparents' role with Shweta and Abhishek's children.

On February 5, 2021, Abhishek had turned a year older, and his father, Amitabh Bachchan had penned an adorable note while sharing a thoughtful picture. He had posted a picture collage, in which, on one side, there was a monochrome picture, wherein he was holding his son's hand. On the other side, there was Abhishek, who was leading her daddy, Amitabh. Amitabh ji keeps on treating his fans with his rare pictures of his beautiful moments from his life. Once, he had posted a fun workout picture with his grandson, Agastya Nanda, son of Big B’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. In the picture, we could see Big B looking like a 'fit, young man' and we had loved the expression on his face while Agastya smiled for the camera. Alongside it, Big B had written, "Fight .. fight the fit .. fit the fight .. reflective mirrors , laterally inverted imagery .. and the inspiration with Grandson.
Talking about Abhishek and Amitabh ji's relationship, in an interview with The Indian Express, Amitabh ji had shared that they are like friends. The superstar had stated that he had decided that the moment Abhishek starts borrowing his shoes, he would become his friend. Amitabh ji is extremely close to his son, Abhishek and had once shared a candid picture with him and had written a funny note with it that could be read as "When he not just wears your shoes, but also shares the same number of chairs to sit on .. then he is not just a Son, but your dearest friend!"
