Amol Parashar Breaks Silence On His Rumoured Relationship With Konkona Sen Sharma, 'It's Koko..'

It's been quite a while since Konkona Sen Sharma has been linked with Amol Parashar. Their relationship buzz intensified after the two were spotted together for the premiere of Gram Chikitsalay, which features Amol in the lead. Soon, the buzz was rife that their joint appearance was a sign of them making their relationship official. Amol first time opened up about his relationship buzz with Konkona.

Amol Parashar reacted to his relationship buzz with Konkona Sen Sharma

Recently, in an interview with ETimes, Amol Parashar reacted to the buzz of his relationship with Konkona Sen Sharma. He stated that people have already made it official, and he still chooses not to answer the question. However, he played a googly and said that but he can change his mind in a week. He was quoted as saying:

"People made it official… Today, I will choose not to answer. But don’t hate me if I change my mind in a week."

Amol further admitted that he is still adjusting to people's interest in his personal life. While he is not complaining, it will still take a lot of time. He further stated that people in the industry advised him how his personal life would become headlines and he cannot fight it. Amol said he took the advice and he even addressed Konkona as 'Koko', while sharing his thoughts. He said:

"I’m not complaining. Maybe it will take me some time to talk about my personal life. Some people in the industry said, ‘Amol you are reaching a certain kind of point in your career or a certain kind of point in your fame, where people are going to be interested in your personal life. You can’t fight it’. I took that advice. I went back and I trained myself to at least not feel bad about it, whether it’s Koko (Konkona Sen Sharma) or any other person in the past. It’s happened a couple of times… Maybe the fear is that (the relationship will become part of my entire personality)."

When Amol talked about keeping his relationship private

Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Amol confirmed that he was in a serious relationship and shared that he likes to keep it private. He added that he doesn't have a good reason to make it public and termed it more 'pure'. Amol also stated that people often make something out of 'PR' but he is not into it. 

However, without naming his partner, Konkona, Amol shared that he is not hiding anything from people. They often attend parties, and people are aware of their relationship, but he doesn't want to disclose any specific details in the media. He said:

"I may just put a picture tomorrow, soch ke kya karna hai. If it goes for a while, you prefer keeping it low. There is nothing we are missing out on. We are not hiding from people. We go to parties and all of that, and people know. But to put something out there in the media has not felt necessary. It is not like we need it."
