Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan has always expressed her undying love for her parents and her Instagram handle is proof of how much she loves spending time with them. For instance, Sara had recently taken some time off from her hectic work schedule and had gone on a date with mom, Amrita. Captioning the video from their date, Sara had written, “When mommy and I set out to eat, we don’t care about diet-only cheat, eating like this isn’t extraordinary it’s no feat, even food competitors should shut up and give us their seat! #KushtiKiTayari #bharisawari #merimapyaari #sarakishayari.”
A few days back, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan made their debut together on a magazine cover and gave major festive goals for the siblings out there. The photoshoot being a special one for Sara as she had shared the frame with her brother, Ibrahim for the first time, the sibling bond was quite evident in the pictures. Sara and Ibrahim had taken the sibling twinning game to another level and we are in awe of their chemistry. And given that everyone loved Sara and Ibrahim’s magazine photoshoot pictures so much, their doting mom, Amrita Singh made sure her princess is protected from evils. In a BTS picture, Amrita could be seen putting a kaala teeka on Sara as she goofily poses with Ibrahim for their first photoshoot together.
Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan could be seen twinning in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla ensembles as they looked like a vision in white. Explaining their outfits, AJSK had written on their Instagram handle, “Sara Ali Khan is ethereal in an off white Chikankari lehenga paired with a sequins and pearl embroidered blouse and accessorised with a pearl and stone encrusted bib. Ibrahim Ali Khan wears a pleated angarakha, hand embroidered with paisleys in Resham, pearls and stones.”
In an interview for the same magazine, Ibrahim Ali Khan had talked about his bond with sister, Sara Ali Khan. He had stated, “The relationship we (Sara and I) share is just perfect – we rarely fight and that’s perhaps because we have a five-year gap between us. On occasions that we do, it’s over the stupidest things. We are very close and love each other a lot.”
In a recent interview, Amrita Singh had revealed that one problem she has from Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. She was quoted as saying, “Sara is a very God-loving child and has immense respect for every belief. She is also an extremely disciplined girl, be it her work or her mind and body. I see the effort she puts in every day to keep the balance and that’s really commendable. Ibrahim is the “old soul” in our home. He’s kind and gentle and has the most sorted mind. He’s gifted with the ability to face the harshest truth with a brave smile and a strong will to overcome any shortcomings. Time and again, the star kid turned a star in herself, Sara Ali Khan had credited her mom, Amrita Singh for what she is today, be it her confidence or inherited looks. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Sara had expressed her wish to spend her entire life with her mother, even after marriage. Sara had said, "I intend to live with my mother for the rest of my life. She gets upset when I say that because she has this whole marriage plan for me, but she can also come with me no, what's the problem?"
A few months back, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, when Sara Ali Khan was quizzed about her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan’s aspirations to be an actor, she had retorted, “I think Ibrahim definitely does want to be an actor. We talk about films and I do know that being an actor is what he dreams of. But I have also often told him that having a dream and living it are two different things. There is a lot of hard work because it’s not just glitz and glamour and I think he is aware of that. If he puts his heart and soul into something, he can do it. I have seen him do plays and all before and I think he has a lot of conviction and a lot of talent. But to be totally honest with you, I am his sister and I will have some bias.”
Speaking on the same lines in another interview to the Mumbai Mirror, Sara Ali Khan was quoted as saying, “He does and from what I’ve seen of him on stage, he’ll be a better actor than me. Recently he gave me a page from his play. I’ve no idea if he had got his lines right because I couldn’t take my eyes off his face. He’s that good. But wanting to be an actor and understanding what it’s about and knowing this is what you want to do is a journey. I think he’s 99 per cent there.” Elaborating on the equation she shares with him, Sara had added, "Ibrahim’s 18 and we’re very close. There’s nothing about me he doesn’t know while I know just 10 per cent of his life because he can be somewhat shady (chuckles).
