Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted a three-day-long pre-wedding soiree for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant from March 1-3, 2024. For the unversed, Anant and Radhika are reportedly going to get hitched on July 12, 2024. However, the pre-wedding soiree took place in Jamnagar and was attended by several famous personalities, including Bollywood, tech, and the music industry. But did you know that the pre-wedding soiree was not originally fixed in Jamnagar first? Yes! You read it right! Read on to know where the Ambanis first planned to host Anant and Radhika's 3-day-long pre-wedding festivities.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities were nothing less than grandeur. From the performance of the Barbadian singer, Rihanna to the dance moves of the three Khans, Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salman, and whatnot, Jamnagar witnessed a lot of magical moments during Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding soiree. However, at first, the soiree was not planned to be hosted in Jamnagar. As per a report by Grapevine, the Ambanis originally planned to host Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding soiree in Morocco, North Africa.

As per another report by Business World, Ambanis later decided to host the soiree in Jamnagar soon after PM, Narendra Modi requested the nation to select India for their destination celebrations rather than abord, the Ambanis changed their plans and shifted the soiree to Jamnagar from Morocco.
As per a report by Daily Mail, the Ambanis have spent an estimated amount of 120 million pounds, which, if converted to INR, comes to approximately Rs. 1259 crore. Rihanna was reportedly paid an amount of USD 5 million dollars for her electrifying performance at Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding soiree. On the other hand, earlier reports claimed that the Ambanis decided to spend Rs. 1000 crore on Anant and Radhika's July wedding.
As per several reports, a total of 2500 dishes were prepared for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding soiree, while 21 to 65 chefs were roped in to prepare these scrumptious dishes, which included Japanese, Thai, Mexican, Parsi, and Pan-Asia cuisines. As per the same report, a total of 225 kinds of dishes for dinner, 75 kinds of breakfast, and 85 unique kinds of midnight dishes were served to the guests. There's no denying the fact that the entire occasion was all things dreamy. However, as per a report by Daily Mail, the Ambanis had spent a whopping amount of 20 million pounds, approximately Rs. 210 crore.

Earlier, in an interview with Vogue, Radhika Merchant divulged why she and Anant Ambani opted for Jamnagar to be their pre-wedding destination. The diva mentioned that Jamnagar holds a special place in their hearts, and by choosing Jamnagar, they tried to honour their roots and family legacy. Radhika further mentioned that the place is the birthland of Kokilaben Ambani, and it's also the land of duty for her and Anant. For the unversed, Radhika and Anant built an animal sanctuary in a 750-acre compound in Jamnagar and named it Vantara.
