Anant Ambani Keeps Late Dog, Happy Close To His Heart, Pays A Heartfelt Tribute With A Golden Brooch

Anant Ambani made a grand appearance with his stunning wife, Radhika Merchant, at the Global Peace Honours 2025 in Mumbai. The duo looked stunning together as they walked hand in hand. Their appearance quickly became the talk of the town. However, it was Anant’s brooch that showed how he keeps his late dog, Happy, close to his heart.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant graced the event in their traditional best. She donned a beautifully crafted lehenga set featuring a backless embroidered choli, a flowing skirt with gold-tinged detailing, and a matching dupatta lined with understated embellishment. With polki jhumkas and a matching necklace, Radhika looked stunning.

On the other hand, Anant opted for a navy-blue three-piece sherwani. Keeping his look subtle, Anant wore a statement gold brooch, dedicated to his late dog, Happy. His brooch grabbed a lot of attention and showed his love for Happy.

Happy was the ring bearer during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s engagement

Happy first gained limelight during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s engagement, as videos surfaced showing him as the ring bearer at the ceremony. Happy was present at Anant’s wedding ceremonies and even featured in the family portrait. Speaking about Happy, Nita Ambani once said in an interview with The Week:

“I am also a dog mother. My son Anant rescues dogs; he has 5,000 stray dogs, but I have only one who is my family, and we call him Happy."

When the Ambanis paid a heartfelt tribute to Happy

Happy bid adieu to the Ambanis on April 30, 2025, and the family paid their heartfelt tribute to the dog. The family created a beautiful memorial in Happy's loving memory. The family shared a note that Happy was more than just a dog to them; he was like a family member, whose presence gave them constant, unconditional love and comfort.  The note could be read as:

“In the loving memory of beloved Happy. It is with heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved dog, Happy. More than just a pet, he was family- a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a constant presence of unconditional love. The joy HAPPY brought into our lives will never be forgotten. From the playful moments to the quiet times of companionship, His memory will forever live in our hearts. Run free, sweet Happy. You will be deeply missed, always loved and never forgotten."
