Daughter of Chunky Pandey and Bhavana Pandey, Ananya Panday had always wished to be an actress. Ananya had made her Bollywood debut with the film, Student of The Year 2 under Dharma Productions. She is counted among the few celeb kids, who managed to make a mark for herself with a few films.

On September 27, 2022, Ananya Panday was papped as she visited a mall in an unusual outfit. The actress wore a black and white oversized suit along with high heels and posed for the shutterbugs. As soon as her video went viral on social media, the actress became a victim of merciless trolling. Netizens couldn’t stop making fun of her unusual look. Some called her ‘Raavan’, while others tagged her ‘circus ka joker’.
This is not the first time when Ananya Panday got mercilessly trolled. At Karan Johar's 50th birthday bash, Ananya graced the event in a stunning sequined floor-touching sheer gown with subtle makeup and jewellery. However, she got mercilessly trolled for copying supermodel, Kendall Jenner's Met Gala 2021 look. Some loved her look, others called her 'local Kendall'.

During the promotional event for Liger, Ananya talked about the constant hate she receives on the internet. Talking about the same, the Khaali Peeli actress revealed her feelings when she reads negative comments about her. In Ananya's words:
"I don't think the feeling of being trolled constantly will ever get resolved inside me. There are days when something affects me. I feel really bad when I get over it and feel strong. I feel I can deal with it. I think I am just trying to focus more on improving myself as an actor and giving people a chance to doubt me."
On the work front, Ananya Panday was last seen in the film, Liger, opposite Vijay Deverakonda!
