Ananya Panday is one of the much-loved star kids in Bollywood. The diva never leaves a chance to mesmerise her fans, courtesy of her good looks and sweet personality. For the unversed, Ananya made her acting debut with the movie, Student Of The Year 2. And she was last seen in the movie, Dream Girl 2. Although Ananya enjoys a massive fanbase, it often happens that the actress has to receive flak for her dressing sense, past comments, and more. In the past, Ananya's comment about facing 'struggle' has received a lot of criticism. Recently, Ananya opened up about whether such mean comments affect her in any way.
Recently, Ananya Panday graced the manifestation couch of the show, Koffee With Karan with Sara Ali Khan. During her conversation, the host asked the diva if her past comments haunt her in any way. To this, Ananya added that it initially haunted her for quite a long time as she used to get troubled by it. Ananya said that she was unsure about the reason why people still keep throwing it at her and can never let it go. Ananya also added that although she was a bit troubled, now she has made her peace with it as she knows what she actually wanted to say back then. Ananya said:
"A little bit, because initially, I used to get really troubled by it. I would just be like 'Why are they still saying it? Why aren't they able to let go?' I think now I am somewhere at peace with it because I also know what I meant to say. But the thing with me is that my brain and my mouth have zero coordination. I am thinking of something else and something else comes out of my mouth."

In the same conversation, Ananya said how she started working at the age of 18 and how she has grown up in front of people's eyes. The actress still added that it feels a bit weird about the way some moments are still present in front of people's eyes, and they keep judging her, despite the fact that actors and actresses have changed so much. Ananya can be quoted as saying:
"But I feel that because we have kind of grown up in the industry, like I started working when I was 18, so we have grown up in front of people's eyes. But it is a little weird because there are moments of our lives just permanently present for people to watch and judge even though we have changed so much from them."
Going further in the conversation, Ananya Panday revealed her point of view on how much she has changed. The actress said that just before gracing the couch, she was watching her earlier episodes, and she wasn't able to relate with that person. Elaborating more on the same, Ananya mentioned:
"I was watching my last season episode of this, and I was like 'Who is this person?' I cannot relate to her. I don't know this person. I have changed with time and I am hoping people see that. I am hoping people grow with me and see the change."

It was back during a 2020 interview with CNN-News 18 when the the-then-newcomer, Ananya Panday, was asked about her take on nepotism. To this, Ananya said that she always wanted to be an actress. The actress added that just because her dad is an actor, it doesn't mean she would say no to any acting opportunity. The actress also stated that her dad had his own fair share of struggles, and he had never been with the Dharma films or graced Koffee With Karan. Such a comment from the diva instantly grabbed a lot of eyeballs and brought her a lot of flak.
