Andy Byron's Wife, Megan Kerrigan, Can Reportedly Get USD 20 To 70 Million As Alimony After Divorce

A concert, which was a getaway from the busy life, turned into a scandal after Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron was spotted holding his company's HR, Kristin Cabot, in his arms. The moment Andy and Kristin were on Coldplay's kiss cam, they rushed to hide their faces. However, it was Andy Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan, who dropped 'Byron' from her surname as soon as the video of his cheating surfaced. Later, she deleted her Facebook account.

Andy Byron and his wife, Megan Kerrigan, have two children, and they were a happy family of four till the Astronomer's former CEO's extramarital affair went viral. There are reports that Megan might file for divorce, and if that happens, she could end up being a rich woman. 

According to a report by New York Post, the state of Massachusetts has 50/50 marital laws, which means a wife gets half of her husband's wealth if she files for divorce. The law states that couples who have been married for over seven years must split all their assets, which they may have accumulated together. So, Megan could take home half of her husband's millions, which can be around USD 20 million to USD 70 million as per the matrimony and family lawyer, Nancy Chemtob. 

The lawyer also revealed that Byron and his wife were in a long-term relationship. However, it is their children who would face the major consequences from the whole controversy. She said:

"It's obviously a long-term relationship. I think the worst thing in this case is the embarrassment factor for the kids. The problem here is that now, the kids are embarrassed, the families are embarrassed, and there's going to be a lot of expenses with regard to therapy for the children, getting separate homes, things like that."

Megan Kerrigan alleged first statement after finding out about her husband, Andy Byron's cheating with his company's HR

After Megan deleted her Facebook account, a statement from a new Facebook account, which claims to be hers, has been going viral. Megan called it the most difficult time of her life as she never thought of gaining the public spotlight in such a way. She revealed that she could not believe her husband had betrayed her, as their marriage was built on trust, respect, and pure love. She wrote:

"This is the most difficult moment of my life. I never imagined I would be thrust into the public spotlight in this way. I never imagined that my husband would betray me.I always believed that my marriage with Andy Byron was built on trust, respect and pure love. Everytime he told me there was something important at work and He couldn't make it home on time. I believed him but it turns out that during those times. He was with another woman."

Andy Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan revealed that she thought he was working hard for their children, but everything shattered with him being caught with another woman on camera. She wrote:

"I naively thought he was working hard for our family, for our children but the kiss caught on camera at the concert shattered everything seeing Andy and Kristen Cabot cuddle together then hurriedly separating when they noticed the camera brought me a level of humiliation and pain, I cannot even describe, I cannot accept and his actions."

However, Andy Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan, has not yet shared any information about the divorce publicly. On the other hand, Andy Byron has resigned from his position as CEO of the Astronomer.
