Popular television actress, Aneri Vajani is well known for her role of 'Mukku' in the show, Anupamaa. Aneri has ruled several hearts with her mature and powerful acting, and her fans adore her. She has been in the television industry since 2012, and over the years, she has acted in many shows, including Pavitra Bhagya, Beyhadh, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, and many others.
Currently, Aneri Vajani is in South Africa, busy shooting for the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. In an interview with a leading media portal, the actress opened up about body-shaming and shared how people trolled her for her body type. She also revealed how she deals with those mean remarks and added that now she is unbothered by the same.

In an interview with ETimes, Aneri Vajani opened up about dealing with people's body shaming remarks and shared how she hits back at the trolls. Talking about the same, the actress said that whenever somebody body shames her, she asks them to look at themselves. In her words:
"Honestly, I never bother about these mean body shaming remarks. I sometimes tell them that “Angoor nahi mile toh angoor khatte” even if they want they can’t be and same goes for me. I can’t be like anyone else. Everyone is different. I have always tried my best that my work should speak and not me. Whenever someone body shames me or calls me 'arre kitni patli hai', I just say the grapes are sour, just look at yourself."
Further in the interview, Aneri shared that she feels blessed that she has the freedom to eat anything without worrying about her weight. She also mentioned that she just exercises for 30 minutes in a day and added that she can lose weight easily. Reflecting on the same, she said:
"Mocking someone for eating too much is as bad as telling a thin person that he doesn’t eat or 'arre bhai kuch kha le'. I really don’t care, I feel I am just blessed with good genes. I can gain weight whenever I want, and If I want to lose weight, I can do that too very easily. Others might have to go to the gym for 2-3 hours but for me I just have to exercise for 30 minutes. Being slim and being unfit are two different things. I am slim but I am not unfit."

In the same interview, Aneri Vajani further added that if she is asked to gain weight for a project, she can do it any time. However, she also mentioned that there has never been a situation like that. Revealing that these hate comments doesn't bother her anymore, the actress said:
"If someday some production house or maker tells me that Aneri for this role, we want you to put on weight at least 15 kilos and then if I am not able to gain that weight, then there will be a problem. But there has never been a situation like that, I never bother about anything, There are so many people who think a lot before eating. I don’t have to think I can eat anything, I am blessed by God. I just enjoy life."
