The boss lady of Bollywood, Rhea Kapoor surprised everyone when she decided to marry her long-time beau, Karan Boolani, in an intimate ceremony. Some thought it to be a rumour until the first picture of the newlyweds leaving in a car went viral. Rhea, who had been dating Karan for the past 13 years, tied the knot at Anil Kapoor's Juhu bungalow in attendance of her close family and friends.
On August 16, 2021, Karan Boolani had taken to his IG handle and had shared the first glimpse from their close-knit wedding. Along with the picture, Karan had written, "Yesterday we made it official to the world… but you and I have been ride or die for over a decade and for that, I would like to thank four people who have given me a crazy amount of love, respect, encouragement and constant collaboration. First is a film producer, the second is a fashion stylist… the third is the mother of my daughter lemon, and the fourth is the finest cook to have performed miracles in a domestic kitchen..and their names are Rhea Kapoor. To the best decision, I’ve ever made. Here's to us and everything that awaits us together."

After Rhea and Karan's wedding, papa, Anil Kapoor took to his IG handle and penned an emotional note, where he described his family as the 'biggest blockbuster ever.' Anil shared two pictures, one from Rhea and Karan's wedding and the other picture, which featured his complete family. Along with the pictures, Anil wrote, "And with that, I feel like my Magnum Opus is complete...with our 2 super-daughters and 3 super-sons, we have the biggest blockbuster ever! Our hearts are full and our family is blessed."
After her wedding, Rhea had shared a series of solo pictures of herself in her wedding attire on her IG handle. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in a chanderi saree designed by Anamika Khanna. She had complemented her look by decking herself in her mom, Sunita Kapoor's jewellery. However, the highlight of Rhea's bridal look was her unique pearl veil designed by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers.

Along with the pictures, Rhea had thanked everyone for turning her dream into reality. Her note could be read as "On my most vulnerable day, thank you for taking care of me. 14.8.21.
