Born into a Punjabi-Hindu family in Chembur, Mumbai to Nirmal Kapoor and producer, Surinder Kapoor, Anil Kapoor rules the hearts of zillions of people. Although he had made his acting debut in 1970, playing the role of a young Shashi Kapoor in an unreleased film, Tu Payal Mein Geet, followed by a cameo in Hamara Tumhara, his debut as a lead actor was with a Telugu film, Vamsa Vruksham. He had received his first Filmfare Award for the Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film, Mashaal.
Anil Kapoor is celebrating his 65th birthday today and he still looks extremely fit and handsome. Well, looking at him it seems as if the actor is ageing backwards. On his special day, Anil Kapoor's fans have been showering best wishes and love on their favourite star. His family members also posted sweet birthday wishes for the birthday boy!

A few moments back, Anil Kapoor's younger daughter, Rhea Kapoor shared an unseen photo from her vidaai and penned an adorable birthday wish for him. In the picture, Anil was seen teary-eyed on Rhea's vidaai as he hugged her. Sharing the picture on her IG handle, Rhea wrote:
"Happy birthday to my Soul Twin. @anilskapoor I love you more than I can ever tell you. Best friends forever."
Sonam Kapoor also took to her IG handle and shared a sweet birthday wish for her daddy dearest, Anil Kapoor. The doting daughter shared a series of pictures featuring her and her daddy. Alongside it, Sonam reminded him that even if there is some distance between them, they are never apart. The actress wrote:
"Happiest Birthday, daddy! Your courage, humility, and warmth always inspires me. There is no one like you, and I couldn’t have wished for a better father. There may be distance between us but you’re my heart, so you’re always with me. Love you!"

On the other hand, Anil Kapoor's second son-in-law, Karan Boolani also took to his IG handle and penned a birthday note for his father-in-law. Sharing a series of pictures featuring Anil Kapoor, Karan advised him to take a break and do the things that the actor loves. He penned:
"Happy birthday @anilskapoor, hope you get time to take a break today and do the things you love. Your happiness matters a lot, today and always."
On December 24, 2020, Anil Kapoor had turned 64 and his family had made the day super special with their adorable wishes. His eldest daughter, actress, Sonam K Ahuja had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable picture with her daddy, Anil and had written:
“Happy happy birthday daddy... you’re the most positive, kind, liberal human being, and we are blessed to have your values instilled in us. I miss you so much and I can’t wait to see you in the new year. @anilskapoor.”

Sonam had also shared a throwback picture of Anil on her IG stories and had written, “Happy birthday forever young” atop it. On the other hand, his younger daughter, Rhea Kapoor had shared adorable pictures of her daddy, Anil and had written:
“Happy birthday to my soul twin. Mentor. Friend. Dad. Competitor. Can’t live without you. #legendsonly @anilskapoor.”
In 2019, on his birthday, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Anil had revealed the reason why he was never fond of celebrating his birthday. He had said:
“I never became a birthday person because my birthday falls on Christmas eve. We usually have the eve parties, and both coincide with each other. So, it’s more about celebrating Christmas than my birthday. In the past, I used to have small parties, which got bigger and bigger, but now, it’s back to being small. It’s all about my family now.”
