‘Ross: Ugh, easy for you to say. You already know what your kid’s names are going to be. Monica: Yeah, I had them picked out since I was 14.’ Every girl can relate to Monica here from the sitcom, F.R.I.E.N.D.S as most of us have decided the name of our future child when we ourselves were a child. And the ones, who haven’t picked out a name for their future child when they were teens, decide with their partners. Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy belong to the latter category as they have already decided the name of their soon-to-arrive baby. After weeks of speculations, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had confirmed their pregnancy and announcing that soon they’ll be embracing parenthood, she had posted a video on their IG feeds. Sharing a lovely video of their journey from being girlfriend-boyfriend, proposal, marriage and finally to-be parents, Anita had captioned the video with two hearts adding up to three followed by “Love you @rohitreddygoa #gettingreadyforreddy.” 2021 is indeed the year to excitedly look forward to for Anita and Rohit as next year in February, they’ll welcome their first child.

Now that Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy are ‘getting ready for Reddy’, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, she has revealed what they’ll name their child. The news of her pregnancy was confirmed to Anita around June when her father-in-law was admitted in the hospital and a few days later, he had passed away. Revealing that Rohit believes that his father is returning as their child, Anita said, "A few days later, he passed away. Now, Rohit, believes his father is returning as our child, so, if we have a son, we will name him Ravi after him." Revealing when they had received the news of her pregnancy, Anita had shared a video on her IG handle.
It was on June 13, 2020, when Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had penned eulogies for his father when he had passed away. Sharing a picture from the hospital, holding his father’s hand, Rohit had written, “Dad, you will be missed! You were, are and will always be my Hero! Here’a a little prayer: May the sacred heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and forever. Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us. Anita Hassanandani, in her eulogy, had revealed how since she was 16, she had looked forward to her marriage so that her father-in-law could fill the void that her father’s demise had created in her life. Anita had written, “No love like a father’s. I lost my dad when I was 16 and since was looking forward to my marriage so my father-in-law could fill that void. Papa you treated me just like yours loved me more than Rohit. I was fortunate to have you in my life. Since I met you, I prayed that If Rohit is half as loving, half as genuine, half as caring, half as real, half as willing, half as strong, half as honest, half as sincere, have as innocent, half as amazing as you were, I’ve married the right man. Thank you for everything. You will be missed every second and be in our hearts forever. I’m sure you are in a better place where my dad is too... do meet him for drinks. Love you. R.I.P.”
Anita Hassanandani had kept the news of her pregnancy a secret from the past few months but she hadn’t kept herself away from posting pictures on social media. She had smartly posted the pictures, hiding her baby bump, though it had sparked off her pregnancy speculations in the media. Sharing four times she had fooled her fans and media by managing to conceal her baby bump, Anita wrote, “Four times I managed to conceal my baby bump.
