Bhojpuri Actress, Anjali Raghav REACTS To Pawan Singh's Apology For Touching Her, 'Main Iss Baat Ko'

Popular Bhojpuri actor and singer, Pawan Singh hogged the limelight after a video of him went viral, where he was seen touching the waist of actress, Anjali Raghav. The alleged incident occurred during a promotional event in Lucknow for their song, Saiya Seva Kare. Facing immense backlash, Anjali spoke about the incident in detail, and Pawan also had to apologise. Now, Anjali opened up about the entire incident after the singer sent her an apology note.

Anjali Raghav opens up on Pawan Singh's apology after he touched her inappropriately

Recently, a clip went viral where Pawan was seen touching Anjali's waist inappropriately. He was brutally backlashed, and as a result, he had to pen an apology letter in which he stated that due to his busy schedule, he could not see her live video. When he learned about the matter, he did not feel well and shared that he had no wrong intentions towards her, as both of them are artists. However, if she has been hurt, he said sorry. Reacting to the same, Anjali took to her Instagram Story to write about forgiving him and said:

"Pawan Singh ji ne apni galti ki manfi mangli hai. wo mujhse bade hai aur senior artist hai … maine unhe manf kar dia hai … mai is bat ko aur aage nahi badhana chahti jai shree ram."

Anjali had shared Pawan's apology note on her Instagram Story and then commented about how she did not want to exaggerate the matter further. She was content with the fact that Pawan had realised his mistake, and she wanted to end things on a good note.

Anjali Raghav made the decision to leave the Bhojpuri industry

Anjali, who was silent after Pawan inappropriately touched her, broke her silence and revealed her decision to leave the Bhojpuri industry. Anjali, in the viral video, looked uncomfortable as he touched her waist and took to her Instagram video to speak on how the incident left her stressed. Pawan did not pay heed to the fact that Anjali was uncomfortable, and in the videos shared:

"I have been very disturbed for the past two days. I am continuously getting DMs asking why I didn’t say anything, why I didn’t take any action, why I didn’t slap, regarding the Lucknow incident. And some people are even blaming me; on some memes they are writing, ‘She was laughing, she was enjoying it.’ Do you think I would feel happy or enjoy being touched in public like that?”

Anjali added that she absolutely does not support any girl being touched without her permission. To begin with, it is very wrong. And to touch someone in this manner is extremely wrong. Anjali revealed that if this thing had happened in Haryana, then she didn't even need the reason to respond, as the public would give the answer in itself. However, Anjali shared of not in Haryana but Lucknow and claimed not to want to work any further in the Bhojpuri industry.

Pawan Singh's second wife, Jyoti, calls out the singer for ignoring her

Amid the backlash Pawan received recently, even his second wife, Jyoti Singh, shared a post on Instagram, accusing Pawan of neglecting her for months. She threatened self-immolation and claimed to get in touch with him, but Pawan has not responded to her calls or messages.
