While Ankita isn’t formally trained in painting yet, she wishes to attend short painting workshops. Speaking about her artwork, Ankita was quoted as saying, “I find solace in painting, and I paint whatever inspires me. What I love about painting is that for those three-four hours every day, it gives me unadulterated focus. There are no phone calls, text messages… the mind doesn’t wander in different directions. My maiden artwork was a Buddha painting and I found it meditative. I have now started doing abstract work and have made a few for my actor friends.”
Further sharing that she was always good with art and craft, Ankita added, “I used to be interested in it since school days. In college, when I was pursuing majors in Biochemistry and Zoology, I would satisfy the artist in me by drawing the diagrams for all my friends.”
Her husband, Karan encourages her a lot and keeps sharing photographs of sketches that he wants her to replicate on canvas. Ankita went on to say, “He sends me photographs of sketches and paintings that he likes, wanting me to replicate them on canvas. Meanwhile, my father-in-law wants me to make a painting for our home, but I feel that I need to hone my talent further for that.”
In a recent interview, Karan expressed his desire to start a family again, but when asked about the same to Ankita, she hesitatingly responded, “It’s too personal a subject to talk about. I don’t want to wish, pray or hope for anything at the moment. Karan and I have moved on and we have been each other’s biggest support.”
Speaking about Ankita’s miscarriage, Karan had stated in an interview, "We are in a positive state of mind. We want to start a family and are planning for it. The incident is behind us. It's a film that didn't' release, but the show must go on."
An actor from Karan’s show shared in an interview, “Everyone on the set is disheartened by this unfortunate incident. Karan and Ankita were really happy about the baby but seems like fate had other plans. While Karan is keeping a brave front, he is devastated, and it will take time to overcome this loss. It was their first child and they were really looking forward to embrace parenthood. We hope God gives them all the strength.” (Also Read: Ankita Bhargava Trolled For 'Darker Skin Tone' Compared To Her Husband Karan Patel, She Replied)
