Ankita Lokhande got married to businessman, Vicky Jain, in December 2021 and started her forever journey with him. The duo, who mesmerised us with their PDA on social media, entered the Bigg Boss 17 house together in October 2023. However, since then, they have been in the headlines for their ugly war of words with each other. In one of the previous episodes, Ankita hit Vicky with a slipper inside the BB house, which led to big trouble for her.
While Ankita and Vicky let bygones be bygones and continued with their journey on the show, Bigg Boss 17, the family week did not go well for the former. When Ankita's mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, entered the show, she expressed her disappointment over her bahu hitting Vicky with a slipper and condemned her actions. Vicky’s mom even went on to reveal that his father called Ankita’s mom right after the incident and asked the latter if she also used to hit her husband. This left Ankita shocked, and she was heartbroken to see how her in-laws were dragging her late father into the fiasco.

In the recent episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande broke down as she apologised to Vicky Jain’s family with folded hands. She shared that she worked hard to build this beautiful relationship with Vicky Jain and has always loved everyone in the family. However, it breaks her heart to see how her in-laws have been thinking badly about her. Ankita also added that her mother-in-law has not lived with her and Vicky much, so she doesn't know how the two live together. In her words:
“Maine bahot mehnat se ye rishte banaye hai, maine sabko bahot pyaar kiya hai and papa mere baare me aisa sochte hain, ghar waale sab mere liye sab feel kar rahe hai mujhe bilkul accha nahi lag raha. Mumma (Vicky’s mom) aap mere sath ittna rahe nahi ho isilye aapko pata nahi hai main aur Vicky kaise rehte hain. Hamari masti chalti rehti hai aur maine gusse main nahi maara tha Vicky ko.”
As Vicky tried to calm her down, Ankita told him that she felt guilty for hurting his family’s sentiments. Not only this, the actress folded both her hands and apologised to the entire Jain family if she unintentionally hurt them with her actions. She said:
“Papa ko, aapko, Vicky ko and puri family ko main haath jodke sorry bolna chahti hu agar mere wajah se hurt hua ho toh.”
However, Vicky supported Ankita and calmed her down. He further explained that all that matters is what she and him think about their relationship, adding that she shouldn't stress about the other people in her life. Vicky was quoted as saying:
“In the end, ye matter karta hai ki tum kya soch rahi ho and main kya sochta hu, baaki logo ka kya hi hai.”

Earlier, in an interview with Saas Bahu Aur Saajish, Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain shared that even though the former is a good daughter-in-law, her repeated fights and arguments with Vicky Jain often worry her. When Ranjana was asked about her views on Ankita hitting Vicky on the show, the former shared that in India, husbands are considered God and are treated with respect. She further added that Vicky has given leverage to Ankita and has allowed the latter to talk to anyone inside the BB house. However, Ankita gets upset when her husband talks to others.
