The wedding season is here and the latest couple to join the bandwagon of the married couples is the gorgeous actress, Ankita Lokhande and her businessman beau, Vicky Jain. Social media is abuzz with pictures and videos of Ankita and Vicky's pre-wedding functions and their fans can't stop their excitement over their much-awaited wedding.
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain's pre-wedding celebrations had begun with a shagun ki mehendi. For the ceremony, Ankita had looked stunning in a yellow-coloured saree with a pink blouse as she had posed with her soon-to-be mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Famous Bollywood mehendi artist, Veena Nagda had put henna on the bride and the groom's hands.

Now, according to the reports of Times of India, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain canceled their wedding reception owning to the rise in number of COVID-19 cases. The couple had earlier planned a traditional wedding ceremony in the morning, followed by a red-carpet reception for the media. However, the couple called off the reception party as they did not want to take any chances. A source close to the actress told ETimes that Ankita took the decision after the organisers of AP Dhillon were charged with an FIR for violation of COVID-19 protocols.
On November 13, 2021, the couple had their sangeet ceremony and it was Ankita's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi co-star, Kangana Ranaut, who had graced the function and had made heads turn with her unique look. She had worn an indigo blue coloured lehenga embellished with multi-coloured thread embroidery and had paired it with a belt. She had completed her look with a heavy maang teeka, a unique matha patti, a stud and a neckpiece and had looked absolutely like a princess.

After their gala mehendi and engagement ceremony, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain had hosted their haldi function. And the bride-to-be Ankita had ditched yellow and had worn a red sharara set and had completed her look with a pair of golden chandbali and a bindi. On the other hand, Vicky had complemented her in a beige-coloured kurta-pyjama.
For Ankita and Vicky's mehendi party, she and her husband-to-be had co-ordinated their looks in floral printed ensembles and had danced their heart. Ankita had taken to her IG handle and had shared a few glimpses from the day's function and had captioned those pictures with a heart emoticon that could be read as:
"The love we share makes my mehndi looks so beautiful… so meaningful… so memorable."
