Ankita Lokhande grabbed a lot of attention with her masterclass performance in the Bigg Boss 17 house. The diva gave a shoulder-to-shoulder fight to her BB 17 house inmates, and she ended up in the 4th position in the show. For the unversed, the top five finalists of Bigg Boss 17 were Munawar Faruqui, Arun Mashetty, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, and Ankita Lokhande. The first one to get eliminated from the finale of the show was Arun, followed by Ankita Lokhande. While the final game was between Munawar and Abhishek, Mannara became the 2nd runner-up, and Munawar won the season. Mannara, bagging in the 3rd position, was extremely happy, and she even called herself the winner in the female category. And now Ankita opened up about Mannara's excitement over her success.
Ankita Lokhande has been giving interviews and sharing anecdotes and her point of views after coming out of Bigg Boss 17. For the unversed, in the BB 17 house, Ankita and Mannara could be seen indulging in several fights, be it a heated argument or a cold war. However, after Ankita became 4th and Mannara became 3rd in BB 17, the latter was overwhelmed with joy, and it was visible. Moreover, Ankita recently sat for an interview with Filmygyan and talked about Mannara Chopra. When asked about Mannara's energy after becoming third in the show, Ankita stated that it's her right to be like this because she won over 'Ankita'. Ankita can be quoted as saying:
"Mannara ko haq hai energetic hone ka kyuki usne sachme Ankita ko haraya hai."

Before the finale week, Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra were constantly making the headlines due to their tiffs. It all began with Vicky Jain's bond with Mannara Chopra, which Ankita first didn't like, and it got sparked eventually for one reason or another. In a video from BB 17, Ankita was talking to Munawar while Mannara stood in between them, which was why the Pavitra Rishta actress got irked and uttered something in anger, which left netizens to wonder if she had abused the Zid actress.
Later, Ankita and Mannara could be seen fighting with one another over facial features. Mannara told Ankita that even surgeries wouldn't be able to fix the former's face. Ankita mockingly called Mannara 'Munna' and asked her to watch her own face in the mirror. Yet, in a video from the show, Ayesha Khan and Abhishek Kumar could be seen fighting, meanwhile, Ankita walked in and threw Mannara's blanket on the floor. Mannara took it a funny way and asked other contestants if the Pavitra Rishta actress had gone mad.

Mannara Chopra, after coming out of the BB 17 house, changed her IG bio, called herself the winner in the female category, and later changed it to 'Bigg Boss 17- runner up'. Netizens found the way Mannara called herself the winner amusing; thereby, she ended up receiving a lot of flak. Not only the netizens but also Munawar seemingly took a dig at Mannara. In a video that hand went viral, Munawar said:
"Bigg Boss main Aoora ko jante ho vo winner the NRI category mein. Aur Navid runner up NRI mein. Ankita wife category mein winner thi. Husband category mein Vicky bhai."
