The duo's off-screen chemistry later blossomed into love, and they became a couple in real life. However, destiny had some other plans, and after seven years of their relationship, they parted ways. After Sushant passed away, Ankita went through a rough phase. But she fought against the odds and bounced back. The diva got married to Vicky Jain, and they are currently part of the famous reality show, Bigg Boss 17.

And recently, Ankita's close friend, Sandeep Singh reacted to the question of whether the diva had moved on from her ex-beau. In an interview with TellyChakkar, on being asked if Ankita had forgotten her ex-flame, Sandeep said:
"Ankita and Vicky are married now and are happy in the Bigg Boss house. I wouldn’t like to say anything on it."
Ankita Lokhande, earlier, in an episode of BB 17, shared that she remained silent for two long years, and then she decided to move on. Speaking about the reason behind the same, Ankita added that somewhere, she had hope for reconciliation, which is why she kept waiting.
Earlier, before entering BB 17, Ankita sat for an interview with BBC Hindi, where she talked elaborately about the difficult phase of her life. The actress mentioned that two years after her breakup when she decided to move on for once and all, she went up to her mom and asked her to remove all of Sushant's photos from her room. Ankita added that her mom did the same, and even tore the late actor's photos. Talking more about the same, Ankita recalled how she cried limitlessly on that day and worked hard on herself after that, and after six months, she met Vicky Jain.

While being in the BB 17 house, Ankita Lokhande once revealed the reason for her breakup with Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress, in a conversation with Munawar Faruqui, said that she had been in a relationship with the late actor for several years, but after they broke up, it left the actress and her parents utterly broken. When Munawar reminded Ankita how she was trolled after Sushant's death, the actress quipped that she just wanted to let the world know what kind of a person Sushant was. Later, the diva said that her breakup with Sushant happened in only one night, without her having any kind of information about the same.
