Bigg Boss 17 excited many people with the interesting twists during the family week. For the unversed, the contestants live far away from their loved ones and have zero contact with them, and thus the anticipation of family week is quite high. In the upcoming week in Bigg Boss 17, Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande's mothers will be seen inside the house and also stay over there for a night.
After coming out of the show, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Vicky Jain's mother, Ranjana Jain spoke about her son and daughter-in-law, Ankita Lokhande. When she was asked about Ankita hitting Vicky with a slipper, Ranjana mentioned that the duo told her that it was all just for fun. However, she condemned Ankita's behaviour as a wife to her husband and said:
"Aisi masti achi nahi lagti, maarne peetne ki. Pati ko chappal maar do, pillow maar do, fek do usse, yeh kya baat hai."

Ranjana was further asked about Vicky's slap gesture for Ankita Lokhande inside the BB house, she said that it was shown differently on national television. She also mentioned that Vicky was pissed with Ankita's constant interference, so he angrily got out of the blanket. However, the scene was cut in a way that it looked like he was about to hit her.
Ranjana also mentioned that Ankita should choose her words wisely and start respecting her husband. She also added that the actress should not forget about the family that she's married into. However, Ranjana shared that Ankita forgets everything and is ready to fight with Vicky every time. She said:
"Ankita ko yeh bolna hai ki tum apne shabdo ko sudharo, pati ki izzat karna seekho. Tum kis parivaar mey ho, kis ladke se tumhari shaadi hui hai, yeh mat bhul jao. Lekin woh sab bhula kar ladne tyaar khadi rehti hai."

In yet another interview with India Today, Vicky Jain’s mother, Ranjana also shed light on Ankita's recent statements about getting a divorce on Bigg Boss 17. Talking about the same, Vicky's mother shared that she believes that these thoughts are temporary and called it a lie. She said:
“People around also keep asking us what is happening between them. It is really difficult to explain to them how this show works but we are at peace knowing that all this is temporary. They will be back together, stronger once they are outside. All this is just a lie.”
Ranjana stated that Bigg Boss is not a show for newly wedded couples, adding that the family knew there would be fights between Ankita and Vicky. However, she also mentioned that they did not imagine that the duo would be fighting with each other and said:
“We have been watching the show for 17 years. We did think there would be fights but never thought they would fight between themselves. This was such a wrong move from a newlywed couple.”
