Ankita Lokhande is one of the most loved television personalities who has impressed people not only with her acting prowess but also with her bubbly personality. The actress's fame multiplied by manifolds when she entered the Bigg Boss 17 house with her husband, Vicky Jain. Ankita's mother, Vandana Lokhande, recently entered the house for the family week episode and on her departure, she revealed some unheard details of the Pavitra Rishta actress.
Vandana Lokhande recently appeared on Galatta India's YouTube channel, revealing several unheard-of details from the diva's life. She revealed that Ankita has lived with Sushant for seven long years, and moving on from a relationship of such strata is not easy. Vandana also revealed that Ankita shares a close bond with all of Sushant's family members, so much so that his sisters, Rani and Shweta, to date, call her on a regular basis.

Vandana Lokhande also divulged that Sushant's father is also in contact with Ankita, and they all treat her as their own daughter. Reminiscing about the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita's mother added that he was a good kid and was also very intelligent. Vandana also said that she, too, used to live with Ankita and Sushant during their live-in days.
In the same interview, Vandana Lokhande revealed that all through the SSR fiasco, Vicky has always been very supportive of Ankita and her family. When Ankita was receiving severe backlash from the fans, Vicky was the one who was consoling her. She added that no matter what Bigg Boss portrays him as, she knows Vicky's reality and will always stand by him, as she loves him like her own son.

Vandana Lokhande revealed that Bigg Boss was offered to Ankita when her father was alive, and the actress asked her father to watch her on-screen. To this, her father excitedly used to reply that he couldn't wait to see her back on television and would watch all her episodes without a miss. However, fate had other plans and Ankita's father passed away on August 12, 2023.
