Ankita Lokhande is one of the most talented actresses in the television industry. The diva carved a space in the hearts of her audience with her role in the serial, Pavitra Rishta. Moreover, her stint in Bigg Boss 17 was something that garnered a lot of attention. Although, she had been one of the much-loved actresses in the BB 17 house, she failed to make her name as the winner and lost the trophy to the popular comedian, Munawar Faruqui. And now, Ankita has reacted to the same.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Ankita Lokhande was asked about her not being able to bag Bigg Boss 17 winner's trophy. To this, the actress stated that she was shocked and upset with the whole thing. Talking more about the same, Ankita added that she knows that she received much love and support from her fans, but it was shocking not being able to win the winner's trophy. Ankita added:
"I am shocked. I was not really upset with the whole thing. You know that people are out there supporting you; people love you. And I have been in the industry for so long. Thoda sa shocking laga that, but I am okay with that.”

In the same interview, Ankita Lokhande was asked about Munawar Faruqui winning the 17th season of Bigg Boss. Replying to the same, Ankita added that there was no doubt that Munawar was a deserving winner. Sharing more about the same, Ankita remarked that the comedian has a huge fan following and people love him. The actress further quipped that each of the participants in BB 17 worked really hard. When asked if she is in touch with Munawar after the show is over, Ankita said that she is in contact with him and the latter is still celebrating his win. Ankita stated:
"I am sure jo jeeta hai wo deserve karta hain. Unke itne followers hain, and there are people out there jo Munawar ko itna pyaar karta hain. Munawar jeeta hain toh koi baat nahi lekin mehnat hum saab ne kii hain. It’s part of the game.”
Ankita Lokhande was one of the most entertaining and one of the highest-paid contestants in the Bigg Boss 17 house. During her stint in the show, the diva often made it to the headlines with her constant fights with her hubby, Vicky Jain. The actress ended up as the 3rd runner-up in Bigg Boss 17. For the unversed, Ankita allegedly bagged a hefty sum of Rs. 12 lakhs for her stint in the show, making Rs. 1.8 crores in total, while Vicky Jain reportedly earned Rs. 70 lakh throughout his journey in Bigg Boss 17.
Throughout her stint in the Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande often used to mention her ex-beau and the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. While the actress received praise for her never-ending love for the later actor, a certain section of netizens claimed that the diva was mentioning Sushant because she wanted to gain sympathy.

Reacting to the same in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ankita added that SSR is the kind of person who, despite not being present physically, exists in people's lives. Sharing more about the same, Ankita remarked that she and Sushant had common friends, and they still talk about the late actor, which means the latter had a huge impact on people's lives, so there's nothing wrong with talking good stuff about him.
