Ankita Lokhande has often gone candid on sharing many anecdotes about her late ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput. For the unversed, the duo crossed paths during the shooting of their hit show, Pavitra Rishta, during the course of which they fell in love. However, their relationship didn’t last for long and after a few years, Sushant broke up with her. Unfortunately, the actor passed away in June 2020. Since then, Ankita, time and again, has opened up about various unheard revelations from their courtship. Recently, she spoke about the hardships faced by the late actor's family as they seek justice after his mysterious death.
In a recent interaction with India.com, Ankita Lokhande spoke about the immense pain and sense of loss her late ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family is still dealing with, over his death. The actress revealed that it hasn’t been easy for all of them to cope up with the tragic circumstance even today. Moreover, she talked about SSR’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, who is knocking every door even today, to seek justice for her brother’s demise. In her words:
“I think family, Shweta di ki baat karti hun, everybody in the family is going through a lot because un sab se connected hun aaj bhi. I know they are going through pain and it’s not easy ki vo chala jaye. Toh definitely vo log demand karege. I am very sure ki justice milega.”

In an earlier interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Ankita Lokhande talked about witnessing Sushant Singh Rajput put in immense sincerity and do hard work like no other, when it came to his work commitments. The diva remarked that the late actor used give his all, when it came to his performance in the craft. Moreover, she regretted not having imbibed the same level of dedication towards her work from him.
Ankita Lokhande recently participated in the reality show, Bigg Boss 17 and garnered much attention. While she didn’t lift the trophy, it was her earnest efforts and clarity of mind which impressed many. Moreover, she often kept recalling several anecdotes about her late ex-beau, Sushant Singh Rajput during the course of the show, which grabbed instant attention. Later on, in the same interaction with Siddharth Kannan, she disclosed the reason behind the same. In her words:
“When I speak about Sushant, I wonder there are a lot of nice things to tell about him. So why not? Sushant is that person in our life who somewhere still exists. We have common friends, we speak about him. There is nothing wrong if someone wants to know about him, consider him as an idol.”

Previously, while speaking to Galatta India, Ankita Lokhande’s mother, Vandana Lokhande revealed that her daughter is still very much connected to her late ex-BF, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. Moreover, she added that Sushant’s sisters, Shweta and Rani frequently call Ankita and stay in touch.
