However, in a recent interview, Ankita opened up about her journey to embracing motherhood.
In a recent interview with India Today, Ankita Lokhande talked about her plans to embrace motherhood. The actress was asked about people's queries about her plans of getting pregnant. In reply to the same, Ankita mentioned that she finds it funny when people mention that they can no longer wait for the diva's upcoming project, and on the other hand, they expect her to get pregnant. The actress also asked her fans to wait for the 'good news', when she will conceive and have babies. Ankita can be quoted as saying:
"I am okay if people ask me this as I know how to reply. However, I really find it funny when they tell me how they are waiting to see me in more projects, and in the same breath ask me when I am getting pregnant. Make up your mind. Honestly, there will be a day when I will conceive. A day when I will have my babies. Wait for it na."

Bigg Boss 17 garnered a lot of attention for Ankita Lokhande. However, what made the diva's fans excited was when she took a pregnancy test in the BB house. In a conversation with her fellow BB contestants, Rinku Dhawan, Sunny Arya, and Arun Mashetty, Ankita revealed that she had not been feeling good. She also expressed her uneasiness as she felt pukish at times and her wish to eat sour things. To this, Rinku asked if there was any good news. Ankita was left blushing and added that nothing had happened between her and Vicky since they came in the show.
Later, in a conversation with Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande discussed her loneliness with Vicky Jain. However, Vicky also shared deets about their tiffs. Ankita later got emotional and revealed that she had been suffering from some health issues. The actress also stated that she had been facing mood swings and had done urine and blood tests for her pregnancy.
Another Bigg Boss 17 contestant, Navid Sole, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, shared that everything had been giving positive hints about Ankita's pregnancy, for which he looked extremely excited. He also added that during his stay in the show, he and Ankita had been deciding some names for the latter's babies. Navid shared that he and Ankita had even planned for a mixup of Hindi and Western names.

Earlier, a photo of Ankita Lokhande surfaced online, wherein she could be seen posing with her hubby. In the photo, Ankita donned a blue bodycon dress that featured some cutouts. However, it was her swelled belly that left people wondering if the diva's pregnant. However, later, she slammed all such rumours and shared these photos had been morphed.
