Bigg Boss 17 is all set to reach the finale episode, and the show will announce its winner on January 28, 2024. Among all the contestants, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have been constantly at loggerheads on the show. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan spoke to their respective family members and gave the couple a reality check on their relationship. He also defended Ankita and slammed her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, for stating bad things about the actress during the media interviews.
After Isha Malviya's eviction, Ankita and Vicky were seen having a conversation, and the actress asked her husband about his mother's statement that his family were against their marriage. However, Vicky defended his family and mentioned that their actions and fights had hurt their parents. To this, Ankita asked him if she didn't change herself according to his family and said:
"Aapko kya lagta hai, mei aapke ghar ke hisab se dhalli nahi? Maine kabhi dikhaya mei aisi hu. Samaj mei gayi, sab kuch kiya, pyaar se kiya, accept karke kiya, bohot dil se kiya. Kya mummy ko muje leke jaake naaz nahi hota tha?"

However, Vicky shared that his parents did not have any problems with Ankita before they entered the show, but they have raised concerns because of her actions on Bigg Boss 17. Reacting to Ankita's statements, Vicky argued that she never stayed with them or followed a routine for a long time and said:
"Saal mein ek din gaye, 3 din gaye toh ye nahi bol sakte ke humne sab kuch kiya."
Ankita further continued that she is feeling scared about how she will face her mother-in-law after the latter made such big statements about her. The actress further shared that her saasu maa is very upset with her and added:
"I don't know how to face her, mere andar sawaal aaraha hai. Kyunki woh itni naaraz hai mujhse, mujhe nahi pata main kya bolungi yaa woh kya bolenge, literally I am scared, I am getting this feeling."

However, Vicky interrupted her and asked her if she was fine with the way she had been behaving on the show. To this, Ankita sais that she tried to put her point of view in front of him and now accepts that she made mistakes which can't be undone now. But she added that she would apologise to her saasu maa for the same and said:
"How will I face mummy? I just have this question now. She gave such big statements, I don't know how to face her. I don't know Vicky. Because she is so upset with me so I don't know what I will tell her. I will say sorry to mummy and will tell her that I made a mistake."
