Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are one of the most talked about contestants of Bigg Boss 17. While the world saw their relationship's ugly sides and passed judgements, Vicky and Ankita stayed glued to each other despite all the odds. Recently, we stumbled upon a special episode of Bigg Boss — BB Roast Night, wherein everyone roasted each other. However, it was Ankita's special performance that impressed many.
On January 19, 2024, a Reddit user shared a video of the promo of BB 17, wherein Ankita was on stage and giving her performance. She started her gig by roasting Munawar and called him a dhakkan (bottle cap), which was totally unexpected and everyone rooting for her. Later, she took a dig at Vicky, clearly stated that she would never leave him and ended their divorce speculations. She said:
"Vicky tujhe toh mai chorungi nai, aur kabhi bhi nahi chorungi."

Further in the video, Ankita revealed that she had a lot of fights with Vicky in the house, but they have the same kind of relationship in real life as well. She also gave a befitting reply to her mother-in-law's comment on 'hitting Vicky with a chappal (slipper)'. Ankita added that whatever she might be, she is known for living her relationships from the heart. Her speech can be read as:
"Mai apni puri koshish kar rahi hoon ki yaha tiki rahun chahe apko hassi aaye ya nai, kyuni mere pati yahin sun sakte hai, meri baatein toh vo sunte nai. Ab pata nahi mai insecure hoon, ho sakta hai possesive hoon, Vicky ko kuch bhi bol deti hoon, laat maar deti hoon, takiya maar deti hoon, but jo bhi ho, rishta dil se nibhati hoon kyunki kuch bhi ho jaaye jaani Ankita Lokhande toh pavirtra rishto ke liye hai."
While some loved Ankita's performance, others didn't like it. Some even advised Ankita to raise her roasting skills. One user wrote, "Why roasting? Sabko apna apna performance / act karne ka option dena chaiye tha......ye log toh script mila hai fir bhi aisa roast kar rahe hai." Another wrote, "Joh bandi itna rishta rishta karte rehti hai usko Jain sab ke alawa koi rishta nahi bana itne dinse. Fake as always."

In the latest promo of Bigg Boss 17, we can see Karan Johar taking Vicky's class and scolding him for not standing up for his wife, Ankita. He added that it was wrong on his mother's part. And she can't say things just because she is older in age and relationship. He added at times, elders also make mistakes and hurt others. He said:
"Vicky National television par aapki maa Ankita ko aakar sawal puchti hai, tab ek pati hone ke naate apko unke peeche khade rehna chahiye tha. Jab kuch kaha-suni baatein hoti hai, bade hai bujurg hai, yeh bhi mai aadar unka karta hoon... Maine picture banai hai its all about loving your parents lekin mai yeh chaati thok kar yeh baat kehna chahunga ki bade hai bujurg hai, lekin unse bhi galtiya ho sakti hai."
Meanwhile, Ankita tried hard to control back her tears and was trying hard to avoid the conversation. Karan Johar also pointed how Ankita kept apologising to him and his mother for half an hour that night, and you just said, "Theek hai.." When Karan tried to point out his mother's behaviour towards Ankita, the actress interwined and requested him to stop. Karan calmed himself down and said:
"You know just for Ankita, I am not going to say it. And she said it, I saw it in her eyes, and I will respect you, and I will not say it."
Karan further school Vicky that he needed to stand for Ankita just the same way he stood for his friends in the show. KJo also stated that he is not asking him to fight for her, but you should have asked Ankita what happened and why she was feeling down and sad.
