Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have been constantly hitting the headlines with their never-ending battles of words. When the duo's fights seemed never-ending, their mothers were sent inside the BB 17 house to resolve matters. However, this again initiated a new series of events and a meme fest on social media, wherein netizens commented that neither Ankita's husband nor her in-laws have support towards her. Afterwards, the ace filmmaker, Karan Johar, graced the show and once again lashed at Vicky for not standing up for his wife whenever required. This again turned saddening, and Vicky put the entire blame on Ankita for showing his bad side.
Now, the makers of the show, BB 17, shared a new promo video of the upcoming episode featuring the current contestants, including Isha Malviya, Samarth Jurel, Abhishek Kumar, Arun Mashettey, Ayesha Khan, Munawar Faruqui, Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande. The video began with the comedian duo, Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa interacting with the contestants. During one segment of the video, Bharti also asked Ankita why she is dragging the fight so long. Instead, Bharti hilariously asked Vicky and Ankita to slap each other and end all such matters of fight. Bharti's piece of advice left the contestants in splits.

Afterwards, as the video progressed, Ankita can be heard asking Vicky to clean up his plates while he mentioned that she is not the captain of the house now and cannot order him. But the way Vicky talked to Ankita, the tone infuriated the actress, and she stated, "Ye kaunsa tameez hota hai, baat karne ka tera?" To this, Vicky was seen angrily rushing towards the kitchen to end his chores.
Following this, Vicky and Ankita are again indulged in a nasty war of words. When Vicky mentioned that she cannot show his eyes as she is no longer the captain of the house, Ankita rushed towards the kitchen to mention that he is just constantly fighting with her these days. To this, Vicky said, "Sirf jo log ke samne mujhe embarrass karte hai." Interrupting him in between, Ankita started leaving the place and mentioned:
"I'm sorry, I don't want to talk to you forever, I'm going. Jaa rahi hu teri jindegi se ab tu dekhiye tereko kya karna hai."

Previously, when Karan Johar appeared on the show, he was seen taking Vicky's class for not supporting his wife, Ankita, whenever required. Karan added that Vicky's decision to defend his mother and father's way of solving matters was wrong. However, Karan was also heard saying that Vicky's mother also can't say such things to her daughter-in-law just because she is older in age and in relationship. But listening to him, Ankita tried hard to control back her tears and requested Karan not to speak so negatively about her mother-in-law. Following this, Karan calmed himself down and said:
"You know just for Ankita, I am not going to say it. And she said it, I saw it in her eyes, and I will respect you, and I will not say it."
