Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case has been growing into a mystery day-by-day. With new claims and blames coming up every day, SSR’s fans and family are praying for justice and truth. It was on July 28, 2020, when Sushant's father had filed FIR and had accused Rhea of abetment to suicide, alleging that she had cheated him financially and had mentally harassed him. A four-member team of Patna Police is investigating the case further in Mumbai. Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande is also in search of truth as she has been saying it out loud that Sushant cannot be depressed. The two had been in a 6-year-long relationship and the purity of their love was quite evident. After an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, Ankita had also taken aside and had shared a post on her IG handle, which could be read as “Truth Wins”. It looked like Ankita was aware about all the trauma Sushant was dealing with and was waiting for his family to come forward and ask for justice.
Amidst all the hullaballoo of Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, on August 4, 2020, Ankita Lokhande took to her IG handle to share another cryptic post. As we all know, Sushant was a spiritual person, Ankita shared a spiritual quote by Ara, which can be read as “They wanted me to be a million things in this Earthly lifetime and to each I bowed and said, 'Not for me. I am on the Priestess path, Goddess born and cannot be swayed. I follow the journey of my heart and singing of my soul. As soon as the news of Sushant’s demise had broken out, the nation was worried about Ankita as everyone knew what the two had once shared a beautiful journey together. In an interview with Republic TV, Ankita had narrated the day of Sushant’s death and had recalled how she was asleep and the phone call of a journalist had woken her up, informing her about Sushant’s death. She had narrated, “I was sleeping and I just got up with some reporter’s call. Usually, I don’t take unknown numbers. I picked up the call and this reporter said, ‘Ankita, Sushant has committed suicide!’ And I was finished. It was something that...you don’t expect something like this.”
Ankita had further recalled immediately turning on the news and seeing the stories on Sushant’s death. She had said, “I didn’t know what to do. I was just there. The next day, there was his funeral and I couldn’t make it because somewhere I knew that if I see Sushant somewhere like that, in that position, that stage… I have my whole life to live and I will never be able to forget that phase. Ankita had also participated in the peaceful candle march for Sushant Singh Rajput with the entire nation digitally on July 22, 2020. The march was to get a CBI enquiry for the late actor. And his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande had also lighted a diya for him. She had posted a picture of the same and had written, "HOPE,PRAYERS AND STRENGTH, Keep smiling, wherever you are."
On July 14, 2020, which had marked Sushant's one-month death anniversary, Ankita had lightened a diya surrounded by flowers in the mandir of her home. Alongside it, she had written, "CHILD Of GOD."
