Ankita Lokhande is one of the most famous actresses, who rose to fame with her stint in Ekta Kapoor's serial, Pavitra Rishta. In the show, the diva's chemistry with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput won hearts. However later, the off-screen pair became a real-life couple, and they used to paint the town red with their adorable bond. However, things didn't go well between the duo, and they broke up after seven years of their relationship, which left their entire fanbase heartbroken.
Fast forward to now, Ankita Lokhande is married to Vicky Jain. Recently, the duo made headlines with their stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss 17. While being on the show, Ankita often discussed her ex-beau, Sushant Singh Rajput, for which she got bashed by a certain section of netizens. And the diva now reacted strongly to the same. Recently, Ankita sat for an interview with ETimes, wherein she was asked about her discussions on Sushant in BB 17 and the criticism she faced due to it. To this, the actress stated that she is well aware of all the talks about her mentioning SSR's name in BB 17, and she doesn't need any permission from anyone on this matter. Ankita remarked:
"Yes, I read about it and I would like to say that I don't need anyone's fan following and Mujhe kisi ke baare mein baat karne ke liye bhi kisi ki permission ki koi zarurat nahi. If someone has done something really nice in their life, I would definitely discuss it."

Ankita Lokhande shared that if someone has done any good in their lives, she wouldn't even hesitate to talk broadly about them. The diva also quipped that she also talked about her father in the show because he was an integral part of her life. Ankita remarked that she was asked by Abhishek about Sushant. The actress shared that Abhishek thinks the late actor is his inspiration, and that's why she opened up to motivate the BB 17 first runner-up. Ankita said that if a person is no more in this world and has done lots of good things in his life, she doesn't have any problem discussing him. She also added that her husband, Vicky, has no problem, so she's not answerable to people. Ankita said:
"I used to discuss my father a lot in the Bigg Boss 17 house because I felt he was an integral part of my life. Yes, I discussed Sushant as well kyunki agar mere saamne koi ladka baitha hai and he wants to be like his inspiration Sushant and if I know about Sushant then why won't I speak or share information. I will definitely motivate that person. Agar koi insaan chala gaya aur usne bahut acchi cheezein ki hai life mein. I don't have a problem discussing, mere husband ko koi problem nahi hai, I'm not answerable to people."
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes TV, Vicky Jain talked about Ankita Lokhande talking about her ex-beau, SSR in BB 17. Vicky stated that he never had any problem with the actress talking about Sushant, as she talked from her heart and only had good things to talk about the late actor. Vicky also remarked that Ankita has been in the industry for several years, and as she had a relationship with SSR, that remained fresh to people, who not only talk but also discuss the late actor with his wifey, which is why he never had any issues.

Ankita, on the other hand, became the 3rd runner-up, which left her fans, who were expecting the diva to be the winner, shocked. Recently, in an interview with The Indian Express, Ankita shared that she was 'embarrassed' after not being able to win the game. However, she was allegedly one of the highest-paid actors in the show, and she bagged a hefty amount of Rs. 1.8 crore.
