'Wish This Was A Joke..' Anunay Sood's Ex-Girlfriend, Brinda Sharma In Disbelief Of His Death At 32

Anunay Sood's sudden demise at the age of 32 has left not just his family, friends, and fans but also his ex-girlfriend, Brinda Sharma is in deep shock. The two were once engaged and madly in love, but they parted ways. Now, Brinda Sharma, a travel content creator, expressed her emotions through a series of Instagram stories.

Brinda Sharma expressed her disbelief at Anunay Sood's sudden death

Brinda once planned on sharing her life with Anunay. The two would also travel together around the world. She poured her heart out in a heartfelt series of IG stories. She posted an old photo from the time they were together. In the first IG story, Brinda mentioned she cannot process what has happened and stayed up last night, hoping it was all a joke.

"I am not able to process what has happened I stayed up last night wishing this was a joke. RIP Anunay."

In another IG story, Brinda mentioned how she had seen him grow in life from nothing to a famous content creator and businessman. She expressed how she learnt a lot about life, people and work from him. She also learnt how to manage money from him. She wrote:

"Saw you grow from nothing to the incredible creator, businessman, mamu, everything. I had the pleasure to learn so much from you whether it was about money, people and work. Learnt how to not let random things hold you down, and learnt 'Laxmi' ko kabhi mana nahi karte. Your legacy, your adventures, your stories, your beautiful pictures and your crazy will to push yourself will live on."

Anunay Sood and Brinda Sharma's love story

For the unversed, Anunay Sood was a famous travel vlogger when he met Brinda Sharma, who wasn't into content creation. The two connected in 2018-2019 as they both loved mountains. Anunay's expertise brought his then-girlfriend into a content creation, and they started visiting around the world and making videos for YouTube and Instagram. It was in February 2022, when Anunay shared his proposal video. However, fans believed that the two had been engaged since 2021 but kept it away from their fans. He popped the marriage question in between snowy mountains.

However, the two called off their engagement after three years. But they continued to maintain an amicable relationship. They had a mutual separation. Their fans were sure that the two had hit a rough patch in their relationship as they started skipping each other's birthdays. Anunay confirmed the same during a Q&A video in June 2024.  Anunay shared that their relationship was not all rosy and they had their share of bad days, which forced them to make the decision.

Anunay Sood passed away at the age of 32

For the unversed, the 32-year-old travel influencer was in Las Vegas when he passed away. However, on November 6, 2025. Anunay Sood's family took to his Instagram handle and shared a heartbreaking post sharing the tragic news. They revealed that the Dubai-based travel influencer and photographer had passed away. They further requested privacy as they navigate the extremely tough time. They even requested his fans not to gather around their private property and keep his family and loved ones in prayers. The post can be read as:

"It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowd near personal property. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace. The family and friends of Anunay Sood."
