Apart from the constant talk about his melodious tone and soulful voice, the singer's personal life has always been a topic of discussion among the gossipmongers. After all the buzz, the singer finally tied the knot for the third time with the popular singer, Prashmita Paul.
Taking to their IG handle, Anupam Roy and Prashmita Paul, in a collaborative post, announced their wedding with their first photo as a husband and wife. In the photo, Prashmita looked prettiest as she served new Bengali bride vibes. The singer opted for a pink-hued Banarasi saree featuring golden borders adorned with naksi work. The surface of the saree featured embroidered tiny naksi motifs all over. For jewels, Prashmita chose a statement gold neckpiece, which she wore with a long golden chain. A pair of jhumkis, and golden bangles added stars to her look. With a sheen touch of makeup and a bun adorned with gipsy flowers, she finalised her look. A pink bindi and sindoor-clad maang increased the new bride's beauty by manifolds. Anupam, on the other hand, donned a beige-hued kurta that featured pink threadwork in floral motifs, thereby complementing his wifey.

Earlier, in an interview with OTT Play, Prashmita Paul talked about the reason for opting for a low-key wedding. The singer added that she and Anupam didn't want a grand affair. The singer added that the wedding would be only attended by friends and family members. She further mentioned that she and Anupam are happy and nothing else matters, so trolling won't affect them in any way.
For those who don't know, Prashmita Paul rose to fame with her much-loved Bengali song, Sajna, from the movie, Bojhena Shey Bojhena. She later worked on several projects. However, if the reports are to be believed, Anupam and Prashmita crossed paths with one another at a studio, and later they became friends. Eventually, their friendship blossomed into love, and their families also agreed upon the same, resulting in the duo taking the next step.

For the unversed, Anupam Roy's first marriage was even before he made his debut in the Bengali music industry. On the other hand, the singer tied the knot for the second time with a mental health activist and social worker, Piya Chakraborty back in 2015. However, it was a few years after their marital bliss, when the duo parted ways due to personal differences. However, it was on November 2023, when Anupam Roy's ex-wife, Piya tied the knot with the famous Bengali actor, Parambrata Chatterjee.
