Anupamaa is one of the popular sitcoms, and it has been keeping the audience glued to their seats for a long time. Recently, a controversy erupted on the sets of Anupamaa. So much so that police even arrived on the sets. For the unversed, it was actor, Jatin Suri, who plays the role of 'Raja' in the show, around whom a controversy began as his girlfriend came on the set of the show, Anupamaa.

If the reports are to be believed, it was Jatin Suri's girlfriend who came up to the set of Anupamaa, and accused him of blackmailing her. Reportedly, the situation got heated, so much so that even the police were informed about the same by the actor's speculated girlfriend. As per the reports, after the woman informed the police about it, they reached the set for a visit, following which both Jatin and his rumoured girlfriend were taken to the police station.

India Forums reached out to Jatin Suri for him to talk on this matter. As per a report from the same portal, at first, Jatin denied all of it, but later, he expressed his wish not to speak on this matter anymore. Reportedly, an investigation into this matter has been ongoing, and no official statements about the same have been released till now. Apart from that, no formal charges were reportedly made after this incident took place.

Jatin Suri is a well-known actor in the television world, who was seen in series like Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani (2015) and Saubhagyavati Bhava: Niyam Aur Shartein Laagu (2023). It was only a few months ago that he got a chance at the top of the TRP TV serial, Anupamaa. His arrival on the show added a layer to the ongoing storyline, which continues to keep the audience hooked to the TV screens. Before entering Anupamaa, Jatin talked about her nervousness about being a part of the most famous show. Talking to ETimes, he shared that everyone knows that Anupamaa is a number 1 show, and even at his home, people only watch it.

In the same interview, Jatin revealed that his mom used to wish that he could be a part of the show, and he would manifest, which finally got fulfilled. He called the opportunity a blessing from his parents. In the same interview, Jatin stated that he turned emotional when he was trusted with the role of 'Raja' in the show by Rajan Shahi. He further recalled being super emotional after bagging the role in Anupamaa. Talking about his audition for Anupamaa, Jatin shared that when he read the script, he just got into the character and felt instantly connected, which he thought was the reason for him to make a place in the show.
