Madalsa Sharma is one of the most loved vamps in the television industry. She gained immense fame with her stint as 'Kavya' in the popular serial Anupamaa. Madalsa shocked the entire nation when she announced that she had decided to quit the show. However, after quitting the show, Madalsa fueled conflict rumours with Rupali Ganguly when she called the actress 'two-faced'. And now, Madalsa has accused Rupali of speaking behind her back.
A few days back, in a conversation with Filmy, Madalsa Sharma called her Anupamaa co-star, Rupali Ganguly ', two-faced.' This led to speculation that the actress left the show after a feud with Rupali, but in a recent podcast with Siddharth Kannan, Madalsa set the record straight. She revealed that she had been thinking of quitting the show for the past eight months, and it had nothing to do with Rupali.
Talking about her tiff with Rupali Ganguly, Madalsa shared that she learnt that Rupali had said a few unpleasant things about her through her other co-stars and crew members. This hurt her, and later, she cleared up the issues with Rupali. Madalsa further added:
"Insaan ji humare samne hai, humare pith peeche wose nahi hai. Behind my back, things were not said in a very polished way about me. Aur jab mujhe pata chala, mujhe hurt hua. Mujhe laga 'kyu', I have nothing against you, we are actors, we are working together. 1-2 aise incidents hue the jaaha mei genuinely hurt hui thi."
In the same conversation, Madalsa shared that Ruplai was very good to her on the face but spoke ill about her behind her back, which is why she felt bad. When the hoist probed what Rupali said about her, to this, Madalsa did not reveal the exact words. But she shared that maybe Rupali had a few reasons for bad-mouthing her, or she spoke ill about her to make herself feel good. So that she could get an ego boost.
Earlier, Madalsa sat down for an interview with Filmy, where she was asked to give one word to her co-stars from the show, and Rupali was one of them. In her reply, Madalsa quickly looked at the side and mentioned "two-faced". She further called Sudhanshu Pandey "Generous", Gaurav Khanna, who plays the role of 'Anuj Kapadia' to be "Cartoon", and Alpana Buch, who plays the role of 'Baa' as "Cute". Madalsa shared an Instagram post on September 19, 2024, to announce her exit. She mentioned how she would miss the role and thanked the entire team.
