Anurag Basu's most recent film, Metro.. In Dino is slowly yet strongly making its mark at the box office. The film that was released on July 4, 2025, has managed to win a few hearts of audiences with its storytelling, soulful music and an amazing cast, which features some of Bollywood's most iconic actors. According to reports, the film, Metro.. In Dino collected around Rs. 3.5 crore on the first day of its release, which was July 4, 2025. On the second day, July 5, 2025, the film earned Rs. 6 crore and on the third day, July 6, 2025, it managed to earn around Rs. 7.25 crore. The total collection of its first weekend was about Rs. 16.75 crore.

The film continued to stay strong at the box office because of positive word of mouth on social media and good reviews from critics, who appreciated the story and songs of it. On day 4, which was July 7, 2025, the film added Rs. 2.5 crore to the final box office collection. On July 8, 2025, the film earned 2.9 crore, which made the total collection to Rs. 22.15 crore in just five days. The film is expected to see a steady and a little longer stay at the box office.

Metro... In Dino is a romantic musical drama directed by Anurag Basu and is considered to be a spiritual sequel to the much-loved 2007 film, Life in a...Metro. The original film explored urban relationships and heartbreaks in the early 2000s, while this film, Metro.. In Dino explores fresh and modern-day love stories in today's world.

The film features an amazing cast with some legendary actors like Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Sara Ali Khan, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Each actor plays an important role in showing the complexity of relationships and heartbreaks set in a faced-paced city. The music of the film is composed by Pritam. The film also pays a small yet special tribute to late, Irrfan Khan with a sweet reference that fans who have seen the original film will recognise. Overall, the film is a heartwarming experience with relatable characters and an emotionally deep story.
