It is worth noting that Anurag is in a recovery phase from a fatal accident that took place on March 7, 2026. A while ago, he shared a wholesome video on his Instagram handle. He was seen using a wheelchair while he visited the hospital to meet his newborn baby.

A while ago, Anurag Dobhal took to his Instagram handle and shared a wholesome video. In the clip, Anurag was visibly in pain and struggled to come out of his car. He was seen heading towards the hospital in his wheelchair. A few people helped Anurag and took him to the hospital room where his wife and newborn baby were admitted. In the video, Anurag broke down in tears as he held his newborn baby in his arms. Sharing the emotional video, Anurag wrote:

"Doosra janam mere bachey ke liye."

Anurag Dobhal and Ritika Chauhan welcome their first child on the special occasion of Ram Navami

On March 28, 2026, Ritika Chauhan took to her Instagram Stories and announced the good news. Sharing an adorable picture, featuring the tiny feet of the newborn baby, Ritika penned a short yet emotional note. She called their baby the 'most precious gift'. The note can be read as:

"On the divine and auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, God has blessed us with our most precious gift 27.03.2026."

On September 18, 2025, the couple took to their Instagram handle and announced that they were expecting their first child. The pregnancy announcement was all things wholesome. In a detailed video, the YouTuber revealed that his wife was feeling unwell and thus they visited a doctor’s clinic. After reaching the clinic, the doctor hinted at Ritika's pregnancy. After undergoing some tests, it was confirmed that she was pregnant. It is worth mentioning that the duo was expecting their first baby four months after their wedding. For the uninitiated, Anurag and Ritika got married in May 2025 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Anurag Dobhal faced a serious accident just days before he embraced fatherhood

Anurag Dobhal’s mental state was a matter of concern for his near and dear ones. In fact, he was so affected mentally that he tried to take his own life. Earlier, this month, Anurag went live on his Instagram handle and seemed very upset with his life. He had also shared an emotional video on YouTube, in which he accused his family members of mental torture and harassment. In the now-deleted-clip, Anurag was driving his car while talking to his followers. In the video, Anurag crashed his car. Soon, visuals of his damaged car went viral on social media.

Following the crash, Anurag was admitted to the hospital and shifted to the ICU. At the time, Ritika was 8 months pregnant with Anurag’s child. Anurag’s manager, Rohit, shared an update about his mental health. In a conversation with Screen, Rohit said:

"Anurag’s wife is 8 months pregnant and with him. Ritika bhabhi rushed to the hospital at 6 in the morning. Anurag was admitted. She has been there, despite her health, but she is still receiving hate. I have been Anurag’s manager since Bigg Boss. I have been handling his mental health for eight months, and I know what he was going through."
