Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma landed back in India a few days back. They were first seen in Vrindavan, seeking blessings for their children, Vamika Kohli and Akaay Kohli. Later, the couple was spotted at the Gateway Of India, and then Anushka was again spotted in and around the city. While the duo have repeatedly visited Alibaug, people initially thought it was because of some shoot, but the truth seems to be something different.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are set to host a Griha Pravesh ceremony with their kids, Vamika and Akaay, for their new house in Alibaug. The anticipation is palpable as a video went viral on social media, where men were seen loading the ferry to Alibaug with bags containing pooja essentials. Another video showed a priest sitting on the ferry. The preparation is reportedly for the Griha Pravesh ceremony that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will hold for their new abode.

A few days back, Virat and Anushka went together to Alibaug via ferry, and the next day, Anushka went alone. It was rumoured that it was due to some professional work, but it was for their new home. Anushka went to their new Alibaug home to check the work and progress.

Anushka Sharma was firm on not doing movies after her marriage

In an old video interview of Anushka with legendary host, Simi Garewal, the actress shared her unwavering commitment to her marriage. She expressed her belief in the sanctity of marriage and her desire to prioritise family over work. Anushka's decision to put her movie projects on hold after her marriage to Virat was a testament to her dedication. She responded by stating:

"That’s a conscious decision. I wanted to take a couple of months off after Zero. After I got married, it was like a whirlwind. I was back on the sets shooting for Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and later Zero. I was just working back-to-back. Whatever time I’d get, I’d try to balance and meet Virat. But I was feeling too worked up. I told my team I don’t even want to read anything right now.”
