Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are among the most lovable duos in the industry. Although they kept their dating period much away from the limelight, ever since they tied the knot in December 2017 in Italy, they never miss a chance to flaunt their love for one another. Now, they are proud parents of two kids, a daughter, Vamika, and a son, Akaay. But despite acing all their parental duties, they have also kept the spark in their relationship alive.
Proof of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's leg pulling and banter was once found in one of their public appearances. It was when the duo appeared at an event for the popular brand, Puma, and engaged in some of the most hilarious jokes with one another. For instance, during one of the segments of the video, the actress was asked about her husband's favourite habit with the instruction - ‘only wrong answers allowed’. To this, she subtly pulled his leg and mentioned, "He is a picture of calmness and peace on the field. Zen. No chikkham chilli (shouting) on the field." Virat too, immediately quipped, "Three most important words," and gave pure relationship goals.

In another segment of the candid chat show, Virat was asked to repeat a line from his wife and Ranveer Singh's film, Band Baaja Baaraat. Then, Anushka was found giving a cue to him by saying, "Pyaar Vyapaar ki jodi kabhi nahi baitthi. Nah bhaiyya, main toh single hi best", and soon, Virat quoted, "Buniz (business) karle mere saath, bread pakore ki kasam kabhi dhoka nahi dunga", and everyone present over there was already appraising them. Moreover, Anushka and Virat were also seen engaging in many more such fun games. For instance, in one of the segments of the video, she was seen doing a hilarious commentary, while Virat prompted like he was batting on the ground.
After taking a small break from cricket before the birth of his second child, Virat returned to the ground to play on behalf of his IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Thus, when his team won its second match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on March 25, 2024, he was presumably seen on a video call with his wife, Anushka. In a video, the cricketer was seen blowing kisses to his family beyond the phone screen and smiling his best. Soon after the video was posted, netizens started reacting to the same. Some even called him an 'attention seeker'.

During his first appearance on IPL 2024, Virat Kohli was heard talking about the precious moments he witnessed after the birth of his son, Akaay. He termed it as a special time, and not only because of a happy addition to his family. But mentioned that his little boy has already been able to bond with his daughter, Vamika. Elaborating more on the happy moments in his life, Virat stated:
“Of course, having two kids, things become totally different from a family perspective. So just the ability to be together, the connections that you make with your older child, it’s amazing. I mean, I couldn’t have been more grateful to God for the opportunity that I got to spend time with my family.”
