Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of the 'IT' couples of the entertainment and of the cricket world. The much-in-love couple dated for a few years and tied the knot in the year 2017. Since then, the duo has been shelling out fairytale vibes out there. Cut to now, the duo is parents to their two adorable kids, Vamika and Akaay. During of their dating days, Anushka and Virat kept their relationship under wraps. And the actress often used to get teased with the cricketer's name. Recently, we stumbled upon an old interview when Shah Rukh Khan teased Anushka with Virat's name, and the latter reacted.

When Anushka Sharma reacted to Shah Rukh Khan's wish to play the role of Virat Kohli

Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan collaborated on several films, such as Zero, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and Jab Harry Met Sejal. However, while promoting the movie, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Shah Rukh pulled the legs of his co-star Anushka Sharma with her then-boyfriend, Virat Kohli's name. During the promotions, Shah Rukh was asked to name a cricketer whose character he would like to play on-screen. To this, he took Virat's name.

However, Anushka interrupted him by saying that he would have to grow a beard in that case. She said, "But you will have to grow a beard." Moreover, Shah Rukh stopped Anushka and expressed his disagreement while stating he looked exactly like Virat Kohli in his film, Jab Harry Met Sejal, as he had grown a beard. Shah Rukh said:

"But I had grown a beard. In Harry Met Sejal, I looked just like Virat Kohli. Exactly like him."

When Shah Rukh Khan called Virat Kohli his 'damaad jaisa'

Shah Rukh Khan shares a warm bond with each of his co-stars. And Anushka Sharma is no exception. However, proof of this was found during one of the actor's 'Ask Me Anything' sessions. During the same, Shah Rukh was asked to tell something about the prolific cricketer, Virat Kohli. To this, the Jawan actor gave an adorable reply and mentioned that he loves Virat, and always prays for the well-being of the cricketer. On the other hand, Shah Rukh also hilariously added that Virat is like his damaad. SRK's tweet could be read as:

“I love @imVkohli he is like my own and I pray always for his well being….bhai damaad jaisa hai humaara."

When Shah Rukh Khan grabbed Virat Kohli and made him dance to his song, Jhoome Jo Pathaan

During one match of IPL 2023, Shah Rukh's team, KKR beat Virat's team RCB. However, among a lot of clips that had gone viral, we have come across a video, wherein Shah Rukh could be seen grabbing Virat Kohli and making him dance to his famous song, Jhoome Jo Pathaan from his movie, Pathaan. However, such a video sent the movie as well as cricket fanatics into a collective meltdown.

When King Kohli recreated King Khan's iconic steps of the song, Chaleya

It was during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup when Virat Kohli, in one of the matches, scored a century on his birthday in Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Not only did he leave the crowd screaming out loud with his batting skills, but he also overjoyed the entire stadium while vibing on Shah Rukh's most famous song, Chaleya, and oh boy, it was such an entertaining moment to remember.
