However, if the reports are to be believed, the prolific cricketer flew back to Mumbai to meet Anushka Sharma on October 2, 2023, due to an emergency. A source close to the actress and the cricketer has told the portal that the actress is currently in the second trimester of her pregnancy. The source also added that the husband-wife duo would soon announce the good news to their fans. And for now, to avoid speculations about her pregnancy, Anushka has been avoiding public events.
Another source close to the couple mentioned that a few days ago, Anushka and Virat were spotted outside a maternity clinic, and they even requested paps not to post their pictures and promised the shutterbugs that they would soon announce their pregnancy.
