Arjun Bijlani's Gives 'Kandha' To His Father-In-Law 'Parthiv Sharir', Consoles His Wife, Neha Swami

Arjun Bijlani and his wife, Neha Swami Bijlani, are dealing with the toughest phase of their life as the latter's father passed away. The two were vacationing in Dubai when they got the information about Neha's father having suffered a stroke. Arjun and Neha cut short their vacation and came back to Mumbai. But the year 2026, started on a sad note as they bid farewell to their father.

On January 1, 2026, Arjun Bijlani's father-in-law's last rites were held. In a video, Arjun was seen giving kandha to his parthvi sharir during the antim yatra. Meanwhile, he kept supporting his wife, Neha as she was left heartbroken. In another clip, Neha was holding Arjun's hand as he guided her towards their car after the procession. 

Arjun Bijlani and his wife, Neha Swami Bijlani, along with their son, were in Dubai. However, they returned after Neha found out about her father's ill health. He was on a ventilator on December 29, 2025. As per a report in the Hindustan Times, a family member revealed that he was fit and fine and was about to have dinner when suddenly he suffered a stroke. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was kept on a ventilator. The family cannot process the news, as Neha and Arjun met him before flying off to Dubai. The family member said:

"He was fit and fine, set to have dinner when suddenly he suffered a stroke and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was on a ventilator. The entire family is in shock, as Neha and Arjun had met the family before flying off. It was a sudden shock, and we are all still grappling with the situation."

As soon as Arjun and Neha received the information about the latter's father's health, they arrived back in Mumbai. Arjun shared an extremely close relationship with Neha's father as his father passed away when he was quite young. The family member said:

"Yes, as Arjun’s father passed away quite early, he has been very close to him, he was like a father figure to him. Of course, for Neha, he was her closest, as any father is to his daughter."

On the work front, Arjun Bijlani won the reality show, Rise and Fall. The show was hosted by Ashneer Grover, and in October 2025, Arjun lifted the trophy of the same. The show was streamed on MX Player and Amazon Prime Video and gained a lot of traction. Apart from the trophy, Arjun also took home a cash prize of Rs. 28.10 lakh. However, fans trolled him as the actor had shared a fake divorce post ahead of entering the show. Later, he clarified the buzz on Instagram and wrote that every word he said in the video, he meant it, but he said not to speculate. In the end, he confirmed he wasn't getting divorced, but netizens called him out for faking divorce for the show's promotions.
