It seems to be raining weddings in the Kapoor household this year. After Mohit Marwah-Antra Motiwala and Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja, the Kapoor family want another bachelor munda to get settled and tie the knot. We are referring to the 33-year-old eligible Kapoor bachelor, Arjun Kapoor. On June 26, 2018, Arjun turned 33 and celebrated his special day over dinner with the most special people i.e., his family. Amongst all the lovely birthday wishes and gifts Arjun received this year, he received a ‘threat and request’ message from his paternal grandmother (dadi), Mrs Nirmal Kapoor. The Namaste England actor shared a picture holding an envelope on which it's written, “To Arjun Kapoor, with love dadi. Jaldi shaadi karo. From Mrs Nirmal Kapoor”.

Arjun captioned the pic as, “When ur Dadi’s gift is a threat and request along with a bribe and command all rolled into one!!! @nirmalkapoorbombay #bossgrandma”. Haha, isn’t it the most hilarious gift from a grandmother?
Arjun Kapoor’s chachu Sanjay Kapoor commented on the post, “What a master move, I love my mother” with laughing emoticons. His wife, Maheep Kapoor too commented with the laughing emojis. Arjun’s brother, Harshvardhan Kapoor wrote, “Another wedding to attend.. damn”. Check out the screenshot:
On his birthday, his darling sisters, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Anshula Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor took to their Instagram to wish their adorable brother. Janhvi shared a sibling picture to wish her bhaiya on his special day, and captioned it, “You are the reason for our strength. Love you, happy birthday Arjun bhaiya”. While Sonam shared a Boomerang video of Arjun blowing his birthday candle, and captioned it, “Happy happy birthday Arjun! Love you tons! Wish I was there celebrating with you.. miss you! @arjunkapoor you’re the best brother anyone can have, to the funniest kindest gentlest boy”. Sharing his marriage plans with Hindustan Times, Arjun shared in a recent interview, “I think my family has gotten a bit tired with back-to-back weddings (of cousins, Mohit Marwah and Sonam K Ahuja), so they have asked me to take a break (laughs). Abhi chhokra jawaan hua hai (laughs). Right now, I am not in the frame of mind to even consider marriage. I am very happy seeing my near-and-dear ones after marriage. I think it will still take me two-three years [to think of marriage]. You need to be in the right frame of mind. Just because others are doing it, you can’t do the same. Both my cousins were clear that they wanted to settle down. They worked on their relationships long enough to feel that. So it made complete sense to them [to get hitched].”
Arjun shared his birthday wish for this year, and said, “If I say it, it may not get fulfilled. Aaj kal dar lagta hai.
