On February 5, 2019, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora attended a dinner party hosted by Gauri Khan and Amrita Arora, Karisma Kapoor, Natasha Poonawala came at the bash. Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are acing the ‘neither denying nor accepting’ game as despite they are often snapped at various events, family and friends’ get-togethers, they haven’t confirmed their relationship in media. But Malaika removing the ‘Khan’ surname from her name after more than a year of her divorce with Arbaaz Khan, shows that now there’s nothing stopping these lovebirds.
As per the reports, alleged lovebirds, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are all set to celebrate their nuptials in 2019. The report stated, "Malaika and Arjun are extremely fond of each other. They have never really spoken about each other but they are extremely happy in their own personal space. In a steady relationship now, Malaika and Arjun plan to take their relationship to next level and tie the knot next year."
A few days ago, a report had caused a storm in cyberspace, stating that Salman Khan has banned Arjun Kapoor and Boney Kapoor from entering his house due to the former's growing closeness with his ex-sister-in-law, Malaika. And now, another Pinkvilla report suggested that Salman has decided not to approach Munni a.k.a. Malaika for an item number in Dabangg 3 and has instead approached the Fevicol Se star, Kareena for the same. Even though Arbaaz is trying to remain cordial with Malaika after the divorce, Salman seems to be still miffed with his ex-sister-in-law. Sometime back, a report had stated, “Malaika is no longer keen to hide her proximity to Arjun. When she was with Arbaaz, the Khan family, especially Salman, made their disapproval very clear. But now that she has broken away from Arbaaz, she sees no reason to be coy about her closeness to Arjun. Besides, Arbaaz is also seeing someone else now.”
On December 31, 2018, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor together rang in the New Year at his chachu, Sanjay Kapoor’s residence. Sanjay himself took to his official Instagram handle and shared a photo with the alleged lovebirds, Malaika and Arjun, his wife Maheep Kapoor and Karan Johar. He captioned it, “Family,” followed by a heart emoji.
Amidst such appearance of Malaika and Arjun together at various occasions, a report started doing the rounds on social media that they have bought a plush flat in Lokhandwala, Mumbai. As per BollywoodLife, “Arjun and Malaika have together purchased a flat in a plush society near Lokhandwala Complex. It is their joint investment together. Whether they plan to live in or no is entirely up to them. But they are surely getting a space for themselves.
