Arjun Kapoor Likes Ex-Girlfriend, Malaika Arora's Photo Dump Post, Netizens Say, 'Arjun Is Back...'

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were one of the most talked-about couples in Bollywood. However, in October 2024, at a Diwali party, Arjun publicly addressed that he is single, confirming the breakup buzz surrounding him and Malaika. Just like a few couples, the duo also chose to remain friends and share an amicable bond. In fact, Arjun was there beside Malaika when her father passed away suddenly. Now, Arjun’s like on a post made by Malaika has become a topic of discussion as the duo had limited interaction over social media post-breakup.

Taking to her Instagram handle, on June 15, 2025, Malaika Arora posted multiple clicks that she took. In some pictures, she was seen relaxing in her comfy pyjama and in a white-hued bathrobe. There were also snaps of delicious foods and drinks. The picture also featured Malaika’s self-care routine. Amid these pictures, there was a beautiful quote on love written by poet, Rumi: "I don’t love you with my heart and mind, I love you with my soul, in case my mind forgets, and my heart stops."

Soon after Malaika made the post, netizens reacted and commented with love emojis. But there was one particular reaction to Malaika’s post, which didn’t go unnoticed by the netizens. Among many celebrities, there was Arjun Kapoor, ex-boyfriend of Malaika Arora who liked her post. Hinting at a re-entry of Arjun into Malaika’s life, one user commented, "Arjun is back." Another user commented, "Such a loss for you Arjun, go get back to her."

The former love birds, Malaika and Arjun, started dating in 2018. For the unversed, Malaika was earlier married to Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, while Arjun dated Salman’s sister, Arpita Khan. As per a report by ETimes, it was at Salman's place where Arjun noticed Malaika, who was married to Arbaaz Khan at that time. So, after dating Arpita for 2 years, the 2 States actor ended that relationship and started dating Malaika in 2018, after her divorce from Arbaaz. In 2019, the duo made their relationship official on Instagram.

From posting cutesy pictures on social media to dropping cheesy comments on each other’s posts, the couple kept their relationship public. However, in 2024, the duo called it quits after having a steady relationship for many years. It was in October 2024 that Arjun Kapoor attended a Diwali party hosted by Raj Thackeray, and publicly addressed, "Abhi single hoon main, relax." Later, Malaika also reacted to Arjun’s public comment on being single. In a past interview with ETimes, Malaika said that she prefers to keep her private life away from the limelight as she thinks that it attracts more public scrutiny. In her words:

"I will never choose a public platform to talk about my personal life. So, whatever Arjun has said is entirely his prerogative."

But both Arjun and Malaika had decided to end things on good terms. Once a source close to Hindustan Times, talked about the couple’s split and said:

"Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each others hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship."
