Arjun Kapoor Reveals His Expectations In Love Post Breakup With Malaika Arora, 'What I Want...'

Arjun Kapoor's love life has often taken the spotlight in media. There have been many rumours about his alleged relationship with different actresses, while his affair with Malaika Arora used to make headlines every day. Despite Arjun trying to maintain silence, fans kept a keen eye on his pictures from vacations, parties, and more. When he began dating Malaika, everyone got hooked on the couple's updates, and in the past few months, his breakup news left fans heartbroken. Recently, as Arjun Kapoor moved on, the actor shared his expectations from love and his idea of an 'Ideal marriage.'

Arjun Kapoor on his expectations from 'love'

Arjun Kapoor is on a promotional spree for his upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. In the same bid, he sat down for an interview with News 18. During the conversation, he was asked about his expectations from 'love' in future relationships. In his response, the actor admitted that he wants to find a bond where he can share comfort in silence. Explaining his point, he said: 

"What I want from love today is someone to share my silences with, and that's very important. Even if you're in two different spaces, you can still be connected without having to speak all the time. The idea is to share things without even realising it."

Arjun Kapoor, who doesn't shy away from believing in love, added that love between two individuals doesn't need to be highlighted. Rather, there should be more comfort and ease between partners. It should be a bond where a person should feel the urge to return home and spend time with their loved ones after their day ends. Sharing how love isn't about staying together, Arjun mentioned: 

"Love doesn't mean staying together with the person all the time. You should be wanting to genuinely building your life with them. It's necessary for two people to understand each other's professions, too."

Arjun Kapoor admired ex-girlfriend,  Malaika Arora's dance and career 

Arjun Kapoor recently graced the sets of Dance reality show, India's Best Dancer vs Super Dancer to promote his upcoming film. Malaika Arora was a part of the jury on the show, and the contestants gave a special performance for her. Soon, they came and asked Malaika to join in. Everyone danced together on her hit tracks, Munni Badnaam, Chaiyya Chaiyya, Pandey Jee Seeti and more. Arjun watched the performance and praised his ex, saying: 

“Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalo se, mai abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hu. But I want to say this: I have got a chance to hear all my favorite songs, which just show the career and the life that she has had. Congratulations, Malaika, on the kind of music and performances and that we can pay tribute to somebody still doing such an amazing job. You know how much I love all these songs. Bahut acha laga to see you being celebrated like this."

Arjun Kapoor was last seen playing an antagonist in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, co-starring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and more. He will be next seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi with Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh and Harsh Gujral. It's set to release on February 21, 2025. The actor will also begin shooting for Anees Bazmee's No Entry 2.
