Today (March 25, 2019), Mona Shourie Kapoor had left for her heavenly abode and her two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor miss her like how. Last year, Arjun had taken to Instagram and posted a note for his mother, sharing how much he missed her. The post could be read as, “As I was shooting by a canal today in Patiala wishing I could send you a picture of how nice the location was Mom I realised I never quite got to walk the red carpet with you to show you one of my films but I’m certain in the last 6 years you have walked every step of the way with me thru these 9 films.”

Arjun Kapoor’s post could be further read as, “Along with mine & Anshula s personal journeys...wish you were here Mom so much has transpired so much where I would have looked at you for answers and looked at you to draw strength...I don’t know if I’m doing a decent job at it but I’m taking one day at a time and making each moment count trying to be a truthful reflection of you and your teachings...can’t believe it’s been 6 years to the day but I have thought of you every breath I have taken please smile spread your warmth n positivity wherever you are cause god knows the world me and Anshula need it...love you forever and beyond...”
And this year too, Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram today and the message that he wrote for his mother will surely make you teary-eyed. Today, at his mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor’s 7th death anniversary, the Gunday actor took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture with his mother and wrote, “You were my smile & I hope wherever you are I make you smile still... it’s been 7 years since youleft us & all your son is asking you is come back na, please.” (Must Read: Neetu Kapoor-Soni Razdan Post Lovely Notes For Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt For Their Filmfare Win)
Arjun Kapoor's sister, Anshula Kapoor too, posted an emotional message for her mother. The same could be read as, "Time changes nothing. Love you & miss you everyday Ma. 7 years since we’ve felt your hugs, heard you laugh or held your hand. Already feels like eternity, but gotta keep on keepin’ on, gotta make you proud everyday, gotta keep feeling your love with every heartbeat of our own #AlwaysAndForever."

On December 04, 2018, what looks like Anshula was feeling low and missing her mother terribly, the star sister shared a throwback picture of her mom and wrote, “Come back na Ma Can you ever become too old to stop needing your mom’s hugs? Being an “adult” is hard, but it sucks extra hard on some days. Today is one such day where all I want is to have kadi chaawal with mom & hear her laugh one more time. Miss you Ma. #AlwaysAndForever”.
Arjun Kapoor, as a doting brother, wrote a heartfelt message and posted an encouraging message for his sister and wrote, “I know she is my sister and I can pick up the phone and tell her this... But strangely sometimes it is easier posting things. It feels cathartic. It's okay Anshula Kapoor, you don't have to be an adult all the time." Referring himself as a "useless man-child" and thanking Anshula for standing by him through thick and thin, Arjun added, "You handle me, the most useless man-child in the world and you still manage to keep your sanity. It's fine. We will take things one day at a time."
Arjun concluded the post by sharing how he always toils hard to become like his mother. He wrote, "I wish I could be more like her or just give you the time with her that you crave but the reality is that I can't even be like her even if I try. She was special and unique and you are more of an extension of her than I can be... Love you. I'll be home soon to trouble you."
It was Mona ji’s birthday on February 03 and Anshula Kapoor had taken to Instagram to pen down her heartfelt message for her mother. Sharing a throwback childhood picture, Anshula had written, “Happy birthday Ma you were and always will be my strongest & loudest cheerleader, my biggest source of strength, and the one person I could always count on to be in my corner. You built me wings when I didn’t know I could or even needed to fly, and you always, always became the wind beneath those wings whenever you saw that I needed that little extra push. Miss you ma (as if that isn’t the biggest understatement of the decade). Even though I’m grateful for the 21 years I got you by my side. We carry you in our hearts every second of every day, and I truly hope that wherever you are, you’re happy & getting to spread all your joy & love with everyone around you. Rab Raakha #AlwaysMyNumber1 #AlwaysAndForever.” (Also Read: Anil Kapoor Tells Us How Being In Love Looks Like On His Wife, Sunita Kapoor's 65th Birthday)
