Legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar and his wife, Anjali Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar encountered a setback just ahead of Mumbai Indian's match at the 2023 Indian Premier League. For the unversed, Arjun made his IPL debut on April 2023 and in four games so far, he has three wickets to his name at an economy rate of 9.36. However, he recently got bitten by a dog in his left arm with which he bowls, leaving a freak injury ahead of the Mumbai Indians' match against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana stadium. As soon as a video of the same was circulated in the media, fans massively trolled Arjun for the same.
In a video posted by the Lucknow Super Giants on Twitter, Arjun Tendulkar can be seen conceding the same to Yudhvir Singh Charak. Yudhvir asked Arjun if everything was alright. To this, Arjun can be seen showing his left arm and revealing that a dog bit him. Other details aren't known about how it happened, as Arjun didn’t reveal anything else and then greeted another player.

For the unversed, Arjun is a left-arm bowler. As soon as the video was posted, fans started trolling him. While some asked Arjun's loving dad and legendary cricketer, Sachin to give a lesson to the dog. Others dropped hilarious comments to troll Arjun for such mishaps just ahead of the match.
Earlier, on April 16, 2023, Arjun made his IPL debut for the team, Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the match in the Wankhede Stadium. Thus, to cheer Arjun during his match, his darling sibling, Sara Tendulkar, was also present, and her reaction was winning hearts. In the match, as Mumbai Indians decided to bowl first, the responsibility of bowling was given to the left-arm seamer all-rounder, Arjun Tendulkar and he had successfully swung the ball in the first over of his first IPL match. He was seen bowling at a speed of 130. The whole time, Sara was seen cheering for him from the balcony. From carefully observing her bhai's match to clapping and cheering for him, Sara was giving pure sister goals.

As soon as the glimpses from the stadium surfaced on the internet, Sara Tendulkar was hailed for being present at her brother, Arjun Tendulkar's debut match. Some of her fans mentioned that it is indeed an emotional moment for the brother-sister duo. On the other hand, some of the Tendulkar fans couldn't stop getting emotional after watching Sara's support for Arjun.
With Arjun Tendulkar making his debut in the IPL 2023, he also became the first son who played in the same team, his father, Sachin Tendulkar represented for many years. The father-son duo is the first in Indian cricket history to play in the same IPL team, Mumbai Indians. Indeed, this is a proud moment for the Tendulkar family.
