Payal Malik participated in Bigg Boss OTT 3 with her husband, Armaan Malik, and his second wife, Kritika Malik. Unfortunately, Payal had a short journey on the show, and she was evicted. Armaan, Payal, and Kritika have a polygamous relationship, and they are all happy together. During her stint on the show, she admitted to being hurt by Armaan and Kritika’s marriage and that her heart still aches. In a recent conversation, she opened up about being cheated by Armaan.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Payal Malik was asked about Armaan's second marriage to Kritika and if she feels her husband wronged her. She admitted that she was betrayed in her relationship as she left her home to marry Armaan, and he fell in love with Kritika after eight years of their marriage. However, Payal added that she is Armaan's priority, and Kritika comes after her. She said:
“Yes, I have been wronged by Armaanji, I left my house for him. I was dependent on him since 8 years, I was living with him, he was my everything. And then all of a sudden, someone else came into his life, so yes, injustice has been done to me. But I have said this before also, today and in the future, I am his first priority. Kritika comes after me, and she knows it, so do our family and subscribers.”

For those who don't know, before his marriage to Payal, Armaan had a broken marriage with his third wife. The YouTuber reportedly changed his religion and married multiple times. However, in the same interview, when Payal was asked about the rumors of Armaan changing his religion to Islam, she called the reports baseless and said:
“That is not true, he has not converted to Islam. He belongs to a Jatt family. He is not a Muslim.”
Further, Payal was asked what made her stay in her marriage with Armaan, even after betrayal. Responding to this, she said that she was in this marriage for her son, Chiku, and nobody forced her to do so. She revealed that Kritika listens to her and never talks back, which makes their bond a happy one. Adding that she is the boss of their house, Payal said:
“I chose to stay with him despite another marriage because I love him. Also, I am in this marriage for my son Chiku. I am happy living this way, it's not like I am being forced to. No woman will tolerate her husband’s second marriage, money is secondary. I am happy in this relationship, the good thing is in my life, a girl like Kritika came, who considers me first. She loves me more than Armaanji. My word is the final one for her, she never argues with me. I am the boss in my house, I call the shots. I am glad that Armaanji didn’t marry a girl who would fight.”
Payal even shared that she never wanted Armaan's second marriage to happen, and when it did, it negatively impacted their relationship. Payal separated from Armaan for a year and took Chiku with her. She was so depressed back then that she thought of ending her life. However, nobody came to help her. So, she decided to get back with Armaan, and they worked on their relationship. Payal said:
“I never wanted my husband to marry again. It impacted our relationship initially and we separated for a year. I took my son Chiku along, and I was on the verge of committing suicide. But then I saw that no friends or relatives would come to help, it was only him. So we met again, worked on the relationship, and now it is so good that even if God asks to separate, we won’t.”

Payal further admitted that she regrets leaving her home behind to marry Armaan Malik. However, when she was asked if she ever got back in touch with her parents after marriage, she said that she only contacted them over the phone after separating from Armaan. However, since they were against intercaste marriage, they never talked to her ever again. She concluded:
“Only the time I had separated from Armaan, I was in touch with my family over the phone. But when I returned to him, we broke ties again. I belong to the Gujjar community, and lived in a joint family, they are against intercaste marriage. To top that, his second marriage was not acceptable. So, I am not in touch with them.”
