Armaan Malik Recalls His Arguments With Amaal While Recording A Song, 'He Threw A Book At Me...'

Amaal and Armaan Malik are one of the top music composers in Bollywood right now. While Armaan has won hearts with his soulful voice, his elder brother, Amaal Mallik is creating an identity for himself on Bigg Boss 19, apart from being a composer. Recently, the Chale Aana singer, Armaan opened up about Amaal's behaviour when the two are recording a song together. 

Amaal Mallik once threw a book at Armaan while recording a song

Recently, singer, Armaan Malik opened up about the experience of working on a song with his brother during his appearance on Mashable India’s YouTube channel. During the candid conversation, he shared the experience of recording the song, Chale Aana from the film, De De pyaar De, and recalled the arguments he had with Amaal at that time. He was quoted as saying:

"There are a lot of times when we disagree with each other. Our fights during recording are famous. For example, there was a song called ‘Chale Aana’, and he threw a book at me. He said, ‘Kya singer hai tu? Tu jaa abhi, ho gaya. When I tried to leave, he stopped and said he was just joking."

Armaan Malik continued to reveal that even though, Amaal Mallik was joking, the Butta Bomma singer wanted to leave as had sung the song 3-4 times but the music composer was not liking it at all. Armaan shared that since Amaal wasn’t liking anything, he was getting frustrated. He shared:

"I was really frustrated because I had sung the song 3-4 times and he wasn’t liking it. So I really wanted to get out of there."

Armaan Malik revealed Amaal Mallik is the toughest to work with

During the same candid conversation with Mashable India, Armaan Malik shared that the reason Amaal is demanding towards Armaan, is because the music composer knows the potential and wants the best out of his younger brother. He further stated that even though, people think it's easy to work with your brother, Amaal is the toughest one to record a song with. In his words:

"He knows my potential, and he will keep pushing me until the point where he is completely satisfied creatively. Honestly, he is the toughest composer to work with, for me. People often think that us working together would be easy, but it’s the opposite, and it is harder working with your brother."

Currently, musician, Amaal Mallik is on the reality show, Bigg Boss 19, where he is making a lot of headlines because of his intense fights and drama and fellow contestants. A few days ago, Amaal Mallik faced backlash for his harsh comments against Farrhana Bhatt and her mother. Amid that, a few recent reports suggest that the musician might exit the show voluntarily because of medical reasons.
