“She (Goretti) has not seen Asur and I don’t think she is interested in seeing also. It is not her cup of tea. She is like ‘I don’t like the scary things.’ She does not like most of my work and she is very clear about it. But she knows that I am a good actor. She thinks I am a good actor who does bad projects.”

However, the Dhamaal actor further added that he hopes his wife and kids watch the two instalments of Asur because there is more to it. He added:
“My daughter and my son have not seen Asur. Nobody gives a sh*t about me at home. I am not a star. They have a different point of view, they are a different generation. Their point of view about films and stories are very different. I hope they know what they are doing. I hope they see it. I want them to see Asur. It is a very intelligent web series. There is so much to it.”
As per reports, Maria's family never wanted her husband to be part of the film fraternity. However, it was Arshad's way of living life that changed their thoughts. However, once Arshad faced financial struggles in his life, it was his ladylove's support which helped him a lot. It was when he made his acting debut with the film, Tere Mere Sapne, and even though his performance was admired, the movie flopped at the box office. Due to this, Arshad faced a lot of difficulties searching for roles and had to sit at home for three years without any work. In this low phase, his wife, Maria supported him financially and took care of all the household expenses for three years.
