Arti Singh is widely known for her roles in the TV soap operas, including Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, Parichay and Waaris. She also appeared on the TV reality show, Bigg Boss 13. In a recent interview, she opened up about her anxiety battles after the death of her close friends, Shefali Jariwala and Sidharth Shukla. For the unversed, Arti shared screen space with Shefali and Sidharth Shukla on the show, Bigg Boss 13, hosted by Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan.

For the uninitiated, Shefali Jariwala tragically passed away on June 27, 2025. She was just 42, when she left for the heavenly abode. Her death left a deep scar in the hearts of her near and dear ones, including her husband, Parag Tyagi. Similarly, Bigg Boss 13 winner, Sidharth Shukla, died on September 2, 2021, and he was just 40 years old when he tragically passed away.

Sidharth’s death left his rumoured girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill, heartbroken. In a tragic turn of events, it was TV actress, Arti Singh who witnessed the tragic deaths very closely. In a recent conversation with Rashami Desai on her chat show, the Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai actress revealed how the two deaths have affected her mentally and emotionally. She was quoted as saying:

"It is extremely scary and also makes me anxious. I feel extremely nervous and scared, and at times I even get emotional and call up Paras Chabbra to calm myself down. It just scares me."

Arti Singh reveals how her husband, Dipak Chauhan, helps her in dealing with hyper moments

During the same conversation, Arti shared that after her marriage to Dipak Chauhan, she had calmed down a lot. She revealed that her panic and hyper moments have reduced significantly as her husband is very sensible. She highlighted that her husband handles situations with maturity whenever she get overwhelmed. She was quoted as saying:

"I have calmed down a lot after marriage. My panic and hyper moments have reduced significantly because Dipak is very sensible. He understands me and handles situations with maturity whenever I get overwhelmed. He stays calm and calms me down."

Arti Singh's personal life

Arti Singh was born on April 5, 1985. She is widely known as the niece of Bollywood actor, Govinda. She is the sister of comedian, Krushna Abhishek. Arti tied the knot with businessman, Dipak Chauhan in April 2024. Their wedding ceremony was nothing less than a lavish one. While many popular TV and Bollywood stars marked their attendance in Arti Singh's wedding, a close one’s absence made the TV actress sad. It was Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, who didn’t attend the ceremony. Earlier, this year, in September 2025, in an interview with Hauterrfly, Arti shared her feelings as her aunt, Sunita, didn’t come to her wedding. She said:

"I wish my mami came, but she was a little sceptical. So it's okay. But phir mei unko baadmei milne gayi thi, and she was very emotional. She also cried, kyuki mei sindoor lagake gayi thi na. She was very happy to see me."

There was a time when Krushna Abhishek and Govinda had issues with each other and thus maintained distance. Sunita also maintained distance from both Krushna and Arti. During a recent conversation with Paras Chhabra, Sunita shared her current dynamics with Arti Singh and Krushna Abhishek. She shared:

"I don't have any ill feelings towards any of my children right now. Both of them, Arti and Krushna, are my children. I love them both. Enough is enough. Now is not the time for all this fighting and quarrelling. Both of them are my children."
